I was so close to starting with Brenton anyway and hoping he would make an appearance sooner rather then later. Oh well, he's another one I'd like to have this week actually while he's still at a good price

Heading into last round, I was happy with how the team looked, didn't see anything that was drastic to change. Now, with Merrin, Mitchell, talk of Jniko, Carter, Blaw suspended Im looking at fielding a very suspect team for a few weeks, or pulling the trigger on bulk changes.

Taupau is a hold.
What is latest on Surgess. I heard all good. Then read about possible nerve damage.

This is the real question wonder when we will get clarity on it

Manly's Brenton Lawrence also facing 1 week thanks to carry-over points
I just heard on the radio that an early guilty plea gets BLaw off - anyone confirm either way?
I have Carter, Surgess, Tapau and BLaw in my team and could really do with BLaw being available to play...
EDIT: Ah, I see NRL.com saying BLaw out for a week even with an early guilty plea...mmm I'm in a spot of bother getting a 17 together for this week....

charge sheet says he has 65 carry over points that would give him a week with the early plea - thats my understanding of it anyway.

Might struggle with your h2h in L2 this weekWhite Lightning wrote:Assuming it's J-Nik & then Mitchell, Surgess, Carter & Taupau are out I'll have 11 players not starting. Even with 2 trades I won't be able to field 17 players. Even my fit players are useless as some of the duds are Macca, Gavet, W. Graham, DCE, Ferguson & Aubusson who are all bleeding value. Not an ideal start but I will persevere & hope for a minor miracle haha.

on nrl website he has 65 carryover points. He will get 90 pts for early plea taking his total to 155 which would be 1 game ban + 55 more carryover points.
Looks like he would only be free to play should he fight the charge and get off (haven't seen footage of incident)
Tapau gets 112 pts for early plea (grade 2 charge) = 1 game + 12 future carryover points, unless he gets a downgrade

Who could this be?
Which NRL star was dropped last week after his wife gave his club’s football manager an almighty spray?
The player was named out of position, much to the annoyance of his better half. She told the boss as much – and the player was promptly dumped from the team altogether.

You look at the still and Kapow is leaning forward Bird is bending over to pick up the ball and contact is in line with a little over Kapows waist. All being normal contact would have been just above waist may be chest high. The ol Cam Smith he broke his own neck defence.

At first I thought Feeney but he was dropped for being shit and he is not an NRL Star. Same with Koroisau. Snowden was also dropped for being lazy so who does that leave?bluetige wrote:Who could this be?

I assume I'm up against you mate. I'd say all my other h2h opponents will beat me as well. However it could be a bit embarassing if I somehow fluke a win haha.
