for reference/comparison, Taupau got a grade 3 dangerous contact for this shot on maloney which carries a 400 point penalty, the Bird shot seems very similar if not worse.

Think some (self included) need to take a deep breath for couple weeks. Field best 17 you can and in 2 weeks time have 4 more trades than the average team... Long Game

Within 3 weeks it has gone from need C Walker to need TMM
Need Garvey to need Parcell. They all being roughly the same player

I will bring in Parcell (if he is still lone hooker) for Garvey only when Lichaa is back.
I'd like to have started season with TMM instead of JNik but now I might just have to wait until Pearce's back to correct that.

Trades this week are gonna be really tough. Have 2 WFBs and possibly 2 CTRs who will be named if Latrell is out. May take the AE and go JNiko > Parcell and Evans > JTurbo.

Hmmm time for thinking, may just see how TLT goes, hoping its kind

I really want Parcell but I have already used a trade on getting Lichaa out for Peats. Meh.. This has been a painful start

Taia - not sure as I haven't been watching him.
Grant - agree, however he is probably low on your priority list.
Nikorima - great trade. I have him the halves and will likely trade for TMM this week.
DCE/Hastings/Taylor - probably hold all 3. Who is your other half?
Ferguson - may depend on Mitchell's injury, but looks like a trade sooner rather than later.
Feeney/Henry/Green - won't lose money whilst not playing and no real options to replace with.
Thanks for the advice, my other half is Cody Walker. At the moment I see no way I get TMM into my squad at the moment.

    Taia -> Ma'u

Then it becomes who is the most pressing to bring in..
    M. Parcell
    H. Hunt
    T. Maire Martin (For D. Cherry-Evans, A. Taylor or J. Hastings. Most likely going to pass on this trade this week.)

Didn't see the game, but sounds like Parcell is a must have? If only one out of him or TMM, which one?

Thinking Mitch Moses out for one of those 2, and hopefully should have enough left for V.Leuluai to Mau.

JNik to TMM and Evans to Fifita looking like my likely trades this week, unless Surgess is out for 4+ then I'll flip him to Fensom or Frizz.

Is it worth doing the Fifita trade yet? Evans has more price rises in him but Fifi will obviously score better and I'll have FRFs set for the season barring injury (Graham, Bromwich, Fifi). On the other hand, I could save a trade and have $250k to address WFB issues.

Haha whats this about Mitchell? He seemed alright taking his shirt off in the locker rooms on fox. I think someone with a dislocated shoulder couldn't take their shirt off by themselves or carry out the game with one arm

This seems wise to me. I'm fortunate enough that I can field 17 even without Merrin, Surgess, Carter, Claw and Mitchell. And we will know a lot more in a weeks time. But if JNik is dropped, pretty easy decision for me to bring in Parcell. Not convinced on TMM. He will be a great player but he won't be kicking field goals every week, position not secure, bugger all base stats, and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't his try come when he was bludging on the blind?

See what you're saying for the most part but TMM will have a ridiculous BE for the next couple of weeks so even if he just scores 30-40s he could be $100k+ more than JNik in a few weeks time, so not so easy to "correct"

Does he have bugger all base stats though? Compare him to Hastings this weekend.

If we assume Tackles, Run M's and KM's are base stats for a half, Hastings scored 7 (Run)+8 (Kick)+19(Tackles) = 34 Total . TMM Scored 9(runs)+0 (Kicks) + 25 (Tackles) = 34 Total. JNik was also 34. Milford scored 26 from those stats.

KM's are nice and all but unless you are getting over 200m each game they can easily be accounted for with a few more runs and tackles.

Yeah sure but if it's all the same, is it worth a precious trade? There's obviously upside, but like someone said, you can't get them all?

DCE's update is good, still not what I was expecting but it'll suffice. Funny enough last year I started with Johnson and DCE was outscoring him by a mile and this year it's the opposite. Barba's update is good but Fifita not so much because he's my captain but still a nice score.

Well that's a whole different argument and a lot harder to quantify Razz. All depends on your individual assessment of him and how the rest of your team is travelling. Maybe you think it was a fluke/rarity, not worth the trade there. Maybe you've got too many injuries or under-performers elsewhere, once again not worth the trade. Or maybe you are happy with other positions and can take a gamble.. might be worth it, depends on what your gut says Very Happy

DCE will be fine, no tries, TA's, LB's, LBA's in 3 games if anyone thinks that will continue through the season then I suggest you all dump him now...
