Couldn't agree more with both Krumpet and the grumpy bastard/all round good bloke Your Name.
I've never been one to advocate trade rage and usually get towards the end of the season with a good couple more trades than most others but this year, with the amount of injuries etc, I can see why a lot of people are looking to move players on and I understand that.
What I DON'T understand is people when they start talking about trading players like DCE, Parker, Surgess etc. Are you mental? These are the players that you are going to want in your teams come years end. If new turns around next week that Burgess is out for 6-8 weeks, THEN trade him. In the meantime, take your head outta the sand. Feeney is a dud, so trade him. But either make hime into a gun or find a new cow coming along, don't sideways trade him.
Long and short, as Your Name said, trade if you've got an injury or an under performing cow to offload. Don't be a D.(ick) Trump

When you find a decent looking cow to downgrade him to or a keeper to upgrade him to. He's not scoring like a complete spud and centre is a dud of a position so hold off until you see a concrete option.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:If you own Fergo at what point does he get gone?

Hold him for another week mate. Roosters are struggling at the moment due to a whole lot of off season personnel changes at the club etc but you just know that a Trent Robinson coached team has it in them to start firing.
The reason I say one more week is that if there's a week that they could grab a win and start to turn it around you'd have to think it's this week against a Manly side that's been struggling as well. They may have had a last start win but on a short turn around with a couple of potential banned players, you'd think they'll be up for it this week. Could mean a decent chance for Fergs to get a few points.

I want Parcell and TMM really badly, but I don't have anybody to trade.
Only players losing value are guys like Merrin who I am happy to hold.
What a dilemna!
Thinking of going Taylor - TMM just to satisfy

And who drops out when Seggy is fit again?
Maybe TMM starts on the bench, seggy hooker then wallace gives seggy a spell with TMM coming on.
What ever way you look at it selling someone like DCE for TMM is a massive risk. TMM no km = no base stats apart from tackles.

Hymel Hunt not tempting still even at 250k? DPP and scores of 41, 48 and 42. I'm kicking myself for not starting with him, but he's looking like a must have.
Reason I didn't start with Hunt was Auva'a hanging around on the bench all the time
2 try inflated scores but on closer inspection he is averaging nearly 30 points a game in base stats, not sure if its worth turning Green into him though? or keeping the cash

Should i buy Denniss? The dual position would really help and Feeneys done, will he go when Uates back? And when will that be?

Uate is going for a late fitness test and will "probably play" so it sounds like if not this week next week

But is Taylor under performing? Not really. And currently still has a BE of -2. More importantly, his job is a shit load more secure then TMM's.
Prior to team lists there was a lot floating around about JNiko being dropped and with that in mind I had dumped him for TMM. Now, team lists are out, JNiko is still in the side and I just can't really justify using a trade to go from one cow to another when Niko still has a negative BE as well.
We'd love to get on them all but I'd much rather hang onto my trades for the all important bye period and post origin injury period then go chasing last weeks scores every week.

Umm im kinda scared to bring this up but im trading out Merrin this week. I think im picking up a better player trading him out and Griffin doesn't like to play his locks for very long by the looks of it and the way Peachy is playing he cannot be on the bench for too long. Peachy is extremely underrated in my opinion.

Merrin has averaged 60 mins last 2 games. This is his usual average along with most locks in the comp

Wasn't the talk of him playing closer to 80 at the start of the year? Plus I reckon he wont play that long this week

Hahaha, no need to be scared MF, you're well and truly higher ranked than I am so obvs your strategy is working better than mine! I'm not advocating trading Merrin out, especially when he returns this week and could go gang busters, but I'm also not going to tell people what they do. Just offering a different argument and point of view mate, that's all.

Yes. 26 average before last week and 40 included 18 for try and 5 goals. Roberts had a leg niggle I thought so should go back to kicking and I think Titans will be whipping boys. I think he'll make another 80k over time and peak.
TMM bossed it before he got the try and field goal at the end and was the best Panthers player on the pitch. Much higher ceiling if holds spot.
It's a gamble of course

I hope he proves me wrong I hope he scores an 80 this week it miht teach me a lesson. Trading him out has allowed me to bring in Mau who ithink will outscore him this week and Tolman who I will keep all year and wont play origin therfor I think I am better off in the long run. I brought in Merrin thinking he'd be underpriced and still a tackling machine.
