I think im picking up a better player trading him out and Griffin doesn't like to play his locks for very long by the looks of it and the way Peachy is playing he cannot be on the bench for too long. Peachy is extremely underrated in my opinion.

Im considering the same thing. This virus is a bit of a mystery. Worried about minutes and energy levels etc. The main reason though if i downgrade him to someone like SST or JDB it means i can upgrade Evans to a gun fwd like tolman rather than someone around the 350k mark.
Just all ideas at the moment tho

actually up 5 mins on last year, which is what most including myself were banking on!

Sure Merrin will be hitting his straps soon and busting out 55-60s

Perhaps he has been ill over the first few weeks which has been effecting his workrate?

Wasn't the talk of him playing closer to 80 at the start of the year? Plus I reckon he wont play that long this week

Barely any locks outside Mannering play 80. Anyone that thought Merrin would play 80 was dreaming and he scored 3 80s first 5 games last season playing 55-60 including off the bench

The fact that it is unknown virus is the main reason for me pulling the trigger. If they said he withdrew because he tweak a hammy and will be rested. Too easy i'd keep him but the whole ambiguity of this virus is strange whats to say he pulls out last minute for the next two weeks?

Anyway I said Griffin and his locks I didn't specifically mention Merrin, Taylor only played 33 mins there last week and that was with a poorer bench than this week.

Trading out Merrin now is a mistake. Wait 2-3 weeks IMO (to wait and see how he scores).

Hymel Hunt is intriguing me. 30 points in base stats roughly. Three 40+ scores, including a low scoring forward slug fest last week. Great signs he could end up around the 320-350k price range, in which case he'd be worth a trade this week - but only this week. Especially given how poor centre spot has been. I'll most likely be going Nathan Green to him along with Kevans to J Turb.

I'm waiting until Friday lunch time though, when we will know more on suspensions/injury news etc.

Reason I didn't start with Hunt was Auva'a hanging around on the bench all the time Rolling Eyes

2 try inflated scores but on closer inspection he is averaging nearly 30 points a game in base stats, not sure if its worth turning Green into him though? or keeping the cash

Yeah, thinking back, it was Auva'a's presence that steered me clear of Hunt originally too.

2 tries and 2 assists for Hunt so far, a little inflated but I think it's reasonable to assume that he'll get involved often enough. Souths having a quiet game last start gave me a lot of confidence in him.

Damn, must be due for a big one. Expect 4 Missed tackles, 6 penalties and 2 errors by half time. Won't come out in the 2nd half because he will have shived (sp?) someone as they walk in to the sheds.

Any raiders fans looking at Brenko?  A couple of years ago he caught my interest but haven't seen much of him recently.

He played well the last game but if it wasn't for BJ coming back soon i'd probably would have a consider of him

Auva'a hanging around again is doing my nut in!

Such an easy trade dumping Green/Benry for him but only if he was starting

You have to think that if anyone goes down in that backline he's the first to get promoted. Next week regardless of anything im not making any trades. But the week after i'll probably bring him in for Green. At least he'll be some use of the Origin period

Do I trade Mansour or Feeney to RTS? If I trade Feeney it means ill have two from RTS, Mansour, Gordon, Barba and Mitchell sitting in my NPRs each week.

Nope. As MF said BJ is coming back next week most likely and Brenko is the #3 Centre. He also hasn't proven to me that he has any consistency (he is capable of some great things though). Defence looked better in the one game, however he's struggled there in the past so I'd have to wait a few games before judging that its really improved.

If you can get Feeney out for a gun, then I would keep Mansour, he looked class against the donkeys, very busy, massive RM and was busting tackles again

use Barba and Mitchell as cows

I have a feeling im going to be stuck with Feeney all year. Unless Bevan French plays for Radradra if he gets picked for the blues
