If you had Rochow and had the cash to go to Fensom/Frizell/Bodene now
would you do it?

I feel jealous of you guys that had injuries to Lichaa, Peats & Segeyaro. While you downgraded to Garvey/Parcell or even shifted J-Nik to half & brought in Walker & consistently hit the big scores I was stuck with Macca who can't even score over 45. How can Macca go from scoring 55+ & have gun status revert to a 40 point also ran. He usually is a super fit tireless worker but I've noticed this year that he doesn't seem to have his usual energy levels. I'm resisting the urge to kick his arse to the gutter & bring in Parcell but instead hoping Peats comes back soon & go straight to him.

fensom is going to be a bit of a trap (for minutes) when austin/sezer return in a weeks time and whitehead goes back to 80 mins on the right edge.

No because surely I would have more pressing issues in my team to address.

Pros -
Possible keeper if he gets the minutes
Should score consistently 15-20 points more a week over Jniko
Has better job security with rumours of Cornish and Pearce returning soon.
Due to the large score the price of Parcell will increase more rapidly.
Parcell has decent byes.
Should play 60mins + and Barrett hopefully won't want to change a winning team.
Buhrer/Brown on bench there is no need for another hooker so they won't eat into his minutes too much
Cons-
Chance of his minutes being reduced
He plays for manly

haha! i honestly feel a bit the same way. I've got hodgson as my 2nd hooker who has had his scores affected by injuries to other players, yet busted out a 60 in rnd 3. i just hope he can keep that up.
i've also got taylor+jniko as bench halves - obviously i missed the boat on walker, and it feels too sideways to go jniko -> TMM unless niko is going to be benched. niko could bust a 60 or two and TMM could just hit 30's from now on..
missin out on the gravy trains

I grabbed Garvey but the annoying thing is grabbing a guy costing $130,000 who is banging out GUN scores...you spread the downgrade cash around to improve elsewhere but you know in a few weeks you are shelling out $400,000+ to get a guy in who struggles to match his scores haha

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 17
TMau with a low score of 50+ and 4% ownership, get in my team haha
Or Sam Mata with a low score of 40 and considerably cheaper, will still keep the kitty intact to bring in another gun in 1 trade next week
Sam or Mau?

I looked at Sam Mat but got nervous with already having Rochow and JSaifiti.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:TMau with a low score of 50+ and 4% ownership, get in my team haha

Even though I'm keeping Maubbs, this post deserves some love.

someone who is bored please give me a run down of their thoughts on Evans -> Carter (or even Sam Mat?).
carter will get 80 mins this week (no surgess) but what happens after that.. does he go back to rnd 2 mins? has he earnt a bigger role?

Sorry mate. I do like any of your options as well but Mau's ownership would be too good to pass up if my team wasn't a shitfight.Welshy wrote:

Love him as a player but Mau started last year on fire and settled down to average low 40s same as the year prior, tough to gauge if he can sustain a 50 average over the season
Was just theoretical mate Rochow and Turner both exceeding expectations to be honest, will wait a few weeks and grab Mannering or Parker when Rochow and Turner get a high BE and stop making $
have too many other problems like failed cows to sort before making upgrades like the ones mentioned
