I actually traded JDB in and then reversed it this week

Laughing you 100% would've been to blame if you did trade him in as planned

Interesting Slater floating the idea of Hynes to FB and handing the reigns over to Trindall/Moylan

The Hynes hate since Origin has been crazy. What happened? He was the golden child and now he's being absolutely pumped in the media.

Shadks seems flat across the park. Filled positions last year that kinda worked and now teams have figured them out.

Hynes to FB isn't the worst but imo it's not the answer. They've just hit the wall, shit happens.

I’m thinking those exact trades, but would have 2 left after

Or JDB across to Haas/Yeo and Hands to someone cheap for EMGs

I don’t think it’ll matter if they do, they’ll find a way to have those charges stick.

The problem with these tackles is

A high tackle is a high tackle in real time
A shoulder charge is a shoulder charge in real time
Same with crushers, trips, punches, spear tackles etc

A hip drop is a normal tackle in real time and only becomes a hip drop if someone lies on the ground for a minute so the video ref can find something. It’s never going to be a satisfactory outcome because nobody can understand it. There’s probably 20 tackles like that one by JdB in every game.

Anyway, this old man will stop yelling at the clouds now

You’re right to be annoyed. They haven’t even been a binning recently some not even on report. Then Suddenly it’s a sin bin and a month off because it’s a dragons player? Imagine if that was a rabbits or penriff player they would have been praised for the most amazing tackle ever.

Whoever cat was that stayed down should be forced to spend the week off to rest their weak legs if they care that much about player welfare, it would stop the soccer antics.

Didn't they do their MCL in the tackle?

I think MF's down to his last trade is the issue here. Goldfish can't survive in saltwater mate!

I wasn’t saying he wasn’t injured in the tackle, just that it only becomes an illegal tackle (Grade 2 no less!) because he happens to get hurt

Whereas any other illegal play isn’t dependent on a coincidental injury. It’s just a mess.

Think this should be a decent game but expecting Dolphins to win with their full spine back and Bulldogs gifting them an extra home game
