3 trades left for me and 2 guys that need to go (Hands and JDB), I have 4 main options here, thoughts?

1: Cleary + someone under 432k, don't see much here except maybe Rocco Berry with that Warriors draw (but don't really rate anyone in this price range)

2: Trell + either J King or W Egan. I'm 2k short of getting Fitzgibbon instead (646k budget) but I really want Trell, and his bye shouldn't be an issue given I don't have any other Souths players.

    3: Murray + Fitzgibbon

    4: McInnes + Gagai

Suina Turuva for your cheapo player? It's a punt on a winger in a team that's really hitting their straps.

Fonua Pole if he keeps his lock role.

but yes, looks pretty thin other than those two unless injuries happen or late season pecking order switches :/

Avo gets a 750$ fine for something that would’ve been a send off and 3 weeks 2 seasons ago

You just know 2 years from now hip drops will be similarly graded again as the league forgets about them and cracks down on something else, like nipple twisters.

Peachey already took the early guilty plea, while JDB hasn't entered one yet. Both played Saturday, so suggests they are probably going to fight it. Nothing to lose really.

Who would have known we could trust the bench hooker that was given a few outings as starting prop (and now maybe back to starting hooker, with another 50+ minute hooker on the bench)

I was going to suggest Matt Burton. Dogs win on the weekend and a relatively cruisy run to finish the season. They probably do their usual "lets hit form and get our fans hopes up" for next year.

But they have the bye this week ahha

    That's the point.

If anyone actually trades him in, he'll go straight back to 25 mins off the bench

Dan Russell has to be looking a good pickup if named again.

If JDB does get suspended, Toby Couchman for 60 min lock bounce bounce

Brave call to spend your last trade on hoping that continues

    Since Rd 11

Bench, lock, bench, prop, bench, lock, lock, bench (came in from 18th man after injury in warmup?), lock

Doesn't scream consistency, a lot depends on if they want t use Bateman as edge, mid or hybrid(tm). And even as starting lock, Pole's scores aren't that great. Could be good enough I guess depending on your available cash and positional requirements.

Maybe a gamble on Gamble for 430k? Knights playing well and have a good draw to come: Dolphins, Dogs, Rabbitohs, Sharks, Dragons.

    Camo's out of trades though.

LB can step up to the plate, Trade him in for Harrison Graham, so that Randall can get benched and Graham back to starting

don't mind Turuva as a shout actually, only issue is that his centre never passes to him (whether it's Peachey or Tago, both are huge ball hogs). At that price can't really do much better.

    JDB is challenging the grading

Meanwhile, the Dragons have announced that Jack de Belin will head to the judiciary on Tuesday night to challenge the grading on his Dangerous Contact charge arising from Saturday's game against Manly.

Due to prior loading, the Grade 2 charge would have incurred a three-match ban with an early plea but a successful downgrade will see de Belin's penalty reduced to a $3000 fine.

An unsuccessful appeal at the judiciary would mean the de Belin misses four matches.
