I thought I was shaping up well trade wise but think I went a bit hard at the gun team R20-22. Probably should have 6 left rather than 4. Going to be tough this next month. Just take a JdB-like situation each week to be in a world of pain.

Yafss says the average left for the top 1000 is 3.4.. i was hoping it was a bit less

Need just the right amount of chaos in the next few weeks to benefit from my 5 trades remaining

Even so most teams have enough depth that one or two outs can be covered if 18th/19th/20th have a good day

Last week not many were keen on trading Drinkwater. I liked the idea, but no reason for me to pull the pin.

The 35 he scored was inevitable

Anyone pulling the trigger this week?

If Latrell didnt have a bye coming i might go for it

Admittedly Kiraz (in my nprs) looks like a capable WFB suitor after his bye

Yeah, I thought trades left would be more 2-3 left. That number surprises me a little.

Maybe, but that was an easy 37 really.  Still has a couple of big ones in him I think but a bye too.  I think a lot of plans will have to wait until later tonight depending on JDB.  If he survives, Drinkwater to a gun is tempting.  Again, a lot of the other guns still have a bye.

Out next week may be the better play. Can see a bounce back against the Broncs.

I really just want to bring in Latrell

Drinkwater va broncos is a tough one. If broncos keep rolling on they might keep him pretty quiet. At the same time we are due a bit of a shocker and he could easily go large. Lol

Food for thought though. Look how quiet they kept Ted last week.

I also expected a bit less than 3.4

I think most top teams getting low have pumped the brakes on trades already last week, and like you said, relying on squad depth at 18/19/20. Easier to do at 50th or 500th than 5000th.

I got greedy last week and got DCE for Harris, before R20 would've easily held and played Kiraz. Hindsight says that's the correct play but it is what it is.

On Drinkwater - I considered selling to get Cleary but went Manu in the end. Too luxurious to sell both now IMO, unless I'm Mr. 10 trades. Possible both him and Manu average 40 from here

AKP probably a decent looping option without looking deep as can go 50+ occasionally

Don't mind AKP but his draw is awful, with the Wahs, Sharks (good), Penrith, Storm and Dogs (good).

I'm considering Warbrick as his draw is better, with the Raiders, Dragons, Titans and Broncos coming up after this week's game against Penrith. I also just like him from a Storm fan perspective

Thank god Robson is named. Didn't need that headache. Will trade him next week if I am in a knockout game.
