I was a Haas captainer last week, but had Cleary, Hynes, Hopgood.

Cleary should be default (c) from here on out, IMO

Cleary with 51 vs Dogs, 101 vs Sharks.. feels like a 76 week vs Storm. I'll let Snatch elaborate.

Not to get too advanced, what about the remaining 12%? Everyone will be giving 110% at this stage of the season.

    Cheers everyone,

Took me a bit to get used to it and warm up having never done something like that before
I think I can cut some of the bullshit back a bit in future too haha, part nerves part repeating myself haha.

Also who I would like to bring in with 2 trades is like saying what supermodel I would like to sleep with.

I think I said Connor Tracey, I will look like a genious or idiot in approximately 5 days

Kind of seems like a respectful dropped.

Raiders site pretty vague on it

Blow the last two to get Cleary in, captain him for the rest of the year and then do NFL mocks until the season starts.

NRL trades are the shackles that hold you back from a full NFL fantasy transition imo

Leading with Connor Tracey was a bold strategy, but it was a good Q&A!

It's a very slick pod overall. I didn't end up listening to the full 100 mins cos ain't nobody got time for that (after about 10 mins just skipped to the Booze part) but it's a good resource and you definitely added value.

I drive a lot for work so do frequent the Talking League and Amateurs pods. Prefer the Amateurs just for more laidback chat and the boys on there are pretty funny

But definite good resources. Amateurs do good articles too

I'm leaning McInnes now in the great rush to buy a MID. Low 50s at lock over the last two years, after taking out the 70+ mins game. Great floor. Then the occasional big min game like last week. Cheapest.

2nd choice Tapine, maybe the smartest choice. 55 avg last 2 seasons. Minutes watch probably just noise. Just have the nagging feeling that extra 70k could be handy for the last trades

AFB is 3rd for me. 50-70 min role is 58 avg but are tries (6) sustainable? Average without tries in 50-70 mins role is low 50s, which is right back in the Harris "minutes managed" range. I just got rid of that guy and he's 60k cheaper

4th Harris, 5th is Butcher, but not sure I want to commit to Thurs night trade-in

There's also hold a 788k red dot because my 17th player is like Matto or iPap and that's pretty decent but then I'm holding a 788k loop and that seems mad.

I do read the Amateurs stuff - so despite my advanced age was aware of what a yeet was before you introduced it to the masses of old people here hahaha. Will try their pods. If it's under 1hr like the OTL lads used to be will probably rate it.

Been doing NRL Fantasy Analysis on the YouTubes, but just for short team list reacts on Tues, no the other vids.

Mainly I just work out stuff from the banter here. And footystats

Surely we know by now that if anyone's matchup proof, it's Cleary? His last three scores against the Storm:

    57
    78 (2020 GF)
    81

Weird quirk that he's only played them once since that 2020 GF though (using footystats, can't remember if he faced them in another finals match that isn't listed there).

I never added further finals games after 2020.. so probably.

I guess i should properly update it or just remove those finals games

The 70k is a factor but Tapine has more the attack and ceiling in his game, don't think we'll get that out of McInnes. Just my gut feel

Just for me, if I get McInnes then I can use the 70k to go Hands to Api (would use all my trades though), so rather get Tapine and hold the final trade for another injury/suspension

They do long pods so not up everyone's alley. Probably like 30 min TLT, 30 min talking shit about successful and non-successful yeets, and 1hr Q&A
