Would be nice to cement my spot in League 2 for next season these coming weeks, League 1 not out of reach, but a lot has to go my way for me to be playing with the big boys next year

What are the league cut offs? Never knew

    Taken a punt on Kris+Lomax > Suaalii+Grant.

Gotta pray for luck with injuries now. 1 trade remaining.

Think it's just where you finish in the FOG/overall the previous season so 16 per league including at least one admin

Both teams 1-17. No Munro for anyone keeping an eye on that.

Haha, thanks mate. Leads me into a few thoughts that have been bouncing around my head over the last couple of weeks-

Appreciate most folk here are here for the Overall party, but any other H2H campaigners find that they abandon the game-plan that got them to finals once the finals start?

You get to the finals by not making stupid sideways trades and building that bank, but once the finals start, basically every trade you do is sideways and has a potential to end your season.

Broke even last week with Manu to Latrell, but now I dread what Manu (whom everyone else still has) will do this week and next. And this week I've shot myself in the foot trading Hopgood in for Ipap/Preston.

And now I ask myself, is it better just to finish the H2H season with 8 trades in hand and only trade for injuries? Who knows?

Just the disgruntled thoughts of a not-quite-broken-yet, but heavily dismantled man on the brink of a sad defeat.

Teeth, you're doing it right. It's just that H2H finals come down to 50:50 calls. You win some, you lose some...

Having trades can be a curse, as the sideways ones you do to manage a difficult match-up make perfect sense but can backfire. But you pretty much can't win a H2H finals series without a few up your sleeve.

Latrell deathride has not started well. Bloke's just too good. I think that quick pass even went backwards with no time to think about it

Saw this too late. Got Munro sitting there to loop Edwards. Nervous wait.

Would about sum up my season if he gets on for 5 points.

Sloan knew what he was doing. Give up 2 with the "horrendous" dropout to score 4 at the other end

Surprised Latrell wasn’t classed a Cat 1 HIA there, was lying down after head clash

Would be typical after spending my last trade

    We aren’t playing well.

Sloan had 3 second efforts on Damien after that break that’s a sin bin and we didn’t even get a penalty.

Playing like a bottom 9 team

Nah think Souths bundle out of finals even if they make it (doesn't seem so). Started the year on fire but crumbled mid year
