NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 79 - Refs own goal

Potentially a harsh lesson learnt for those captaining Captaining Cleary and not VCing someone in the first game or an early game.

If your captain is playing first game, surely VC someone who is also playing or playing early atleast - Yeo, Cartwright, Penisini, Hopgood all highly owned... even AFB or Johnson playing today.

Hynes captained by 6.66% of the top 1k.

The signs were there for us all to see..

I captained Cleary but then had the VC on Hynes so cant trade him out.

Lesson learnt should have stuck the VC on Yeo.

He is locked in your starting team if you VC'd him, but if you have a half on the bench (most people do), that half will loop in for Hynes and as long as you have enough green dots in EMG to shift up, then you'll have 17 players.

As long as they have a HLF on the bench they get an Auto emergency.....it mostly depends on whether they now have 17 green dots or, have and are willing to use a trade (i.e. trade out someone other than Hynes) to make that happen

Man it would be funny if Hynes returns next week and tonnes up to spice this one up even more

Remember the carnage round, when failhub gave us all 2 extra trades... well that's what this round is reminding me of.
Crazy amount of fantasy relevant players ruled out. I think many will be playing with less than 17 this week

Also, I wanted to thank Bryce Cartwright for his service in my team this season, this last month has been a blast!

If i had Hynes (C) and DCE (VC) with Cleary on the bench and Harrison Graham at 18th man will i end up getting Clearys points for Hynes and graham points aswell??
