Do you have to decide this week?BCT05 wrote:Hmm wonder if trading Hynes instead of Teddy is the way to go, Hynes seems the greater risk of not playing next week?
Not having Hynes points next week if he plays could well be a killer though, Teddy could go large too but slightly less likely.

You'd have to take Graham's 47 over Cheese right? I think I'll take it and loop cheese and Nikora.

This is my plan, I just don't see them risking him next week for a game that probably doesn't change anything. Particularly if Melbourne win today which I think they will.

I'm shocked at the big scoring so far this round. I'm on 8c/508 and still about 20 below par. Worst score is Robson's 45. Guess most have only had 6-8 play and also most have Drinkwater skewing the average scores higher through 3 games. Wonder if this could be one of those monster, 1200ish rounds for some.

Like I said on Thursday evening, the concern is not as much who you're trading out. The bigger risk is that who you trade in doesn't end up playing next week for some reason. If you have more than one trade, or are using your last one to field 17, that's fine, otherwise I'd hold until next week.

L1 grand final fairly evenly poised.
Me: 41 + Bateman, Ramien, Koula, Cheese/Nikora.
BCT: Nutcher, Ipap, Gagai, Bula, Averillo/ trade-in.
Should be close but I think I can claim underdog status.

Is Hynes 100% out?
I see at the moment he's still in the team but "expected" to miss the game.
For Fantasy it doesn't matter, I have no options either way. But in Sportsdeck, I'm currently ranked top 10, and missing out on the 1% chance Hynes plays could be crucial, and with Sharks playing last I need to make the decision before final team lists.

My inbox has been blowing up with fan letters for the Eliminator final - thanks everyone. Don't forget to share some love with Easytiger too.
Currently:
WT vs ET
-----------
Yeo 51 vs Harris 56
McLean 38 vs Lemuelu 54
DCE vs Munster
Haas vs Bateman
Bula vs Kris
Ramien vs Colquhoun
TBD vs TBD
I was locking in Carrigan, but that plan is fucked. Now the potential list is a mile long, but I'm leaning Nutcher over Tino et al. Sandon to Trindall crossed my mind, but I think I've gotta grab a gun based on the results so far and sacrifice next week for this week.

For those who can somehow get 17 guns on the park then, yes, it's been a high scoring start. I'll be on 404/5c after the updates are added, which is all very nice, but playing 15 plus Sandon Smith's 9 and the small possibility of Garrick suiting up, and there will be plenty in a similar situation or worse.

Would be really funny if he was actually all good.
Ill need to make a call by 3pm today as current plan is hynes to Tino. Unfortunately cut to 19 is at 4pm. I could hold off and get someone else i guess
Surely we can trust foxsports ? Lol...

Saab's running Mobil 1 currently. Dropped the best info we know so far when he said:
"Is he still a chance to play?"
"Nah. He's got a fracture in his back. It's a pretty significant injury... I'm not sure if he'll play next week, but he's definitely not playing this week"

Well look, it’s far from what I want to hear but I appreciate it nonetheless. If I ditch Garrick and he plays then Saab might get the same treatment I gave the Saab that was my first car

Yeah I'm planning to ride Saab like a motorbike if it turns out to be BS.

Fitzy's presser. Confirms no Hynes, but pretty confident for next week.
Got through training, but flared up at the end.
Moylan comes into the halves.

Hmm
Sharks vs Raiders last game if the reg season.
If broncos and sharks win this week then theyre pretry much locked into 5th regardless of last round..
Edit actually the knights could jump the sharks with two wins
Anyway. Lot can happen still

My dad used to have a Saab back in the day. They were so rare that owners would flash their lights at each other if ever they crossed paths on the road, much as owners of Jason Saab in fantasy probably do today.

Can confirm my inbox is empty, not even a team tracker update from Rabbits.
IMHO I don't know if you exactly HAVE to grab a gun.
What could be more fun than jumping on the Colq-train with me?
There's even an outside chance he gets a couple of minutes this week
