Bye week before finals is the obvious answer

Biggest issue is the 2 week break for whoever has the bye in the last round having 2 weeks off (if they make the finals that is)

Guess you can just give the Tigers the R27 bye and be done with it

The NRL could be real fascists about it and hand out one week suspensions to any regular starting 17 player who isn't named and played for their normal minutes in the final round
Tough shit for those players who actually have a real one week injury

No restings for Penrith with Yeo named.
Gagai, Ponga, Frizell out for Newcastle.
Hynes back for Cronulla.

It's probably the most logical solution, but I think it reduces the advantage the top four teams have earned. And for the top four teams that win the first final, it could mean only one match in a month leading into a knock-out preliminary final.

I've got 15 if Horse makes it, 16 if Skelton gets a run
