So my question is this;
Should a higher rank create a higher or lower level of sadness with the said withdrawal of a low-ownership player, or is it contingent on the value you assign to your individual ranks? (which are both great btw)

Not hugely relevant, but still owned by 15 of the top 1,000. Another one bites the dust.

322 of the top 1000 have both cleary and hynes as captain and vice captain (either way around). 18 of the top 100 have done such a thing.

263 are specifically C Cleary and VC hynes, although i suppose it makes no difference either way, if both get rested.
