Is it wrong that we are all death riding Timoko and whichever blockhead forward Beaver trades in just so we can enjoy the Booze victory?

We're deep into Round 27 on a Sat night. Definitely time for a drink. 1 part brandy, 1 part creme de menthe and 1 part kahlua - a Rum Tum Tugger!

Missed all the games. Including Hunts last for the Dragons - although did use last trade for his 47, where I assume he’s due about 50 in updates.

But did hear a 3rd hand account of Bulldogs wrestle-gate tonight.

Not quite the high performance 10/10 good oil like when I was telling people in December to avoid any plans with Angus, would say this is maybe 8/10 reliable, but if anywhere near the mark I don’t expect this will go away easily for the club.

Relieved that captaining the best player only cost me 1 point vs chasing last week's score

    Coffee

Hopefully Hynes, Fifita and Ramien can save me from dropping too much tomorrow. 227th live ranking and season peak was 270th before last round, so finishing around there would be cool. 269th ideally.

Btw, do I get one of those fancy titles under my name for winning the Eliminator? Something like 2023 Champion of Champions or some such thing?

    Thanks Very Happy

Up to 12th for monthly with 6 still to come
187 back from first (maybe 138 if loop of wishart already counted) with McInnes to come
Taking out pods it looks like tapine, Tino, talakai, Brimson chasing the points. I get an extra 9 points from graham if Hynes is a late out vs no one on the other side

What kind of title? Something like ‘king of pain’ or maybe ‘emperor of eliminations’? Or maybe just a simple Mr (probably the first time you’ve been called Mr so that works)

Getting more pissed off as the weekend goes on, dissapointed in a way I haven’t been outside of the spoon season, the men’s team hasn’t won a damn thing in 17 fucking years, they get a golden opportunity to dust out the cobwebs in the trophy cabinet, but the fucking ARROGANCE to look a gift horse in the mouth and throw it away like the Provan-Summons is a god-given right.

So fucking sick of hearing “minor premiership don’t mean anything” fucking MAKE IT mean something, if clubs treat the achievement with the respect it deserves it WILL mean something, I hate the Panthers with a passion but credit due for showing up this week wanting to earn the achievement and because they did, they claimed the trophy and it cost them NOTHING, not a fucking thing, in fact one could argue it made them even better than they already were, but nah, let’s just limpdick our way into the final series carrying in a loser’s mentality with our pathway to the grand final consisting of mostly, if not all, teams that have already beaten us this year and see where it gets us, jesus fucking wept.

Season would have gone better if Edwards got credited for those 193 assists that Abdo was going on about

That was a wonderful piece of awkwardness, especially as they cut to Edwards who kept saying WTF? What is this guy on about??

Missed most of the action. Sad to see the Cowboys out,  but deep down I knew it was likely.

At least Edwards over Drinkwater was a positive. Cleary  captainers must feel pretty stupid Very Happy

602 with Tino, Nikora,  Fifita,  Ramien and Hynes to go.

Wonder if Hynes will be GKing today.

Im sitting in the top 20 for Supercoach at the moment and I haven't locked my C.

I have Hynes, Dfifi and Tino as C options left. Not sure if Hynes will kick.

539 with McInnes, Hynes, Avo, Fifita and whoever I trade in with my last trade in. Tino probably the option but I can't help but feel Tapine is playing some big minutes today. How could he not with that bench?

How does pricing work for the start of next year? Do prices roll over from the end of this year with a handful of manual changes for certain players? Or are starting prices based on yearly averages?

Yearly average x magic number (which ranges from 12500 to 14500, usually around 13500-14000)

With a few manual edits here and there
