Broncos really let that one slide. I was at the game and noticed a few things (as a Dolphins supporter but before this year lifetime supporting the Broncos).

Cobbo and Walsh did not have their head in the game the first half. When Cobbo dropped the ball coming off the line he went in to his shell. Head down. Not getting back on side. Turning his back on the play... it was really a sight to see. Walsh also just seemed way off the ball with very poor efforts in D.

Short drop kicks may have high percentage bit jeez, I think in a GF like that, the option should be to just boot it long. Especially after the first little tap back resulting in the Kenny try. I didn't mind the ARey drop out in the second half, but it resulted in the GOAT'd Cleary catch to make it become out on the full. That really stamped the comeback.

Carrigan drop ball around half way in the second. Game killer. Carrigan had a decent game but that was such a big blow.

Penrith: JCH and Leota played extremely well. Hard running. No bullshit. Was really a sight to see. Leota really stood out to me.

And of course, Cleary. That last 20 was just pure class. Took advantage of a retreating Broncs outfit. Once he got a roll on you could just see the Broncos imploding. Unbelievable.

so much has changed in the almost 10 years since we fucked our last chance, i was devastated then, wish i had it in me to be upset or angry now, but i'm numb to it, it's just another small reason to consider the pros and cons of using a toaster as a bath toy.

I watched the first 54 mins recorded when it was 12-8, then the smartcard decided it didn't like me fast forwarding through the 20 min halftime and replays, so it did some scan and stopped recording what turned out to be the last 6 mins. Luckily I switched to live and caught those final minutes in all their glory. Cleary.. what a freak.

I caught back up on the lost 20 mins soon after and fuck me.. Down 24-8 and Luai, Yeo and Sorenson going off with injuries all at once made the comeback even more amazing. Now if Cleary can just translate that into the origin arena, it'd be much appreciated.

Commiserations Broncos fans I know how that feels to lose by 2 points same happened to us in 2021. It fucking sucks to come so close. Penrith man what can you say and Clezza clutch as fuck!

I am usually one as well as you know to say the ref wasn’t good but I actually thought in his 1st GF Adam Gee did a pretty good job he let the players decide and the game flowed quite well.

I can see how that was refreshing from a neutral standpoint, as a Broncos fan - and I don’t say this to ref blame, it had nothing to do with the end result - deciding to leave his whistle in the sheds suited the Panthers gameplan down to the ground, they were more than happy to test out how long they were allowed to wrestle us in the ruck on every play-the-ball, which felt about 1-2 seconds longer than any other game this year, and that definitely helped to set their line, slow us down and frustrate us into early errors, can’t and won’t say it was biased against us, because it didn’t feel like he was reffing our defence any different but we weren’t willing to push the envelope, that might be the experience factor coming into play more than anything.

Being at the ground and not getting 1000 replays the Broncos knock on early from a kick appeared to go back which eventually led to the drop out which the Panthers scored off. And the Reynolds 40/20 looked like the Panthers player was out when he batted it back but it was the otherside of the field and couldn't really tell. It didn't even warrant a replay.

Why would anyone be at the airport? For one, it costs a fucking fortune to park there.

For two, they had a well publicised fan day yesterday with the team at the riverstage, which was packed

If you wanted fair weather supporters you should of seen the hundreds of panthers fans trying to get back in the stadium after leaving early because they gave up on their team after 60 minutes or the fact half of brisbane travelled to Sydney to outnumber the panthers fans who pnpy had to travel half an hour down the road.

It shits me because they are such a good footy team but half the team are classless cocks and I look forward to the day that their reign of dominance comes to an end.

Panthers fan beside me left as soon as the score hit 16-8. Not sure they had even kicked the goal.

    Damn NW, that's soft.
As a Knights supporter who suffered through 3 spoons, 15k crowd average every home game, knowing full well they would get pumped.
Just made the 10 game streak that much sweeter.

And, Knights fans haven't suffered like Wests Tigers fans have, or Parra, or ...
The main thing is, if it's your team, stick with them, better days will come.

    Rant done.

Random one but I was just telling friends about the time Cam Smith kicked a ball directly at a fan - hilarious.

Although a quick google search comes up with articles about it, unfortunately it seems video evidence has been scrubbed from the internet for some reason.

If anyone can find a vid of it I would be very grateful.

Just looked it up, and it's mental:

He's probably got 5 years max as an elite NRL player with that approach IMO
