There was brief discussion before the finals that the NRL might force us to play playoffs fans at Eden Park for the bums on seats = $$. But there was quite a large public backlash (before any decision was even announced) that moving the game away from Mt Smart was ridiculous. Could they have sold out Eden Park? Almost certainly. Is this cauldron at Mt Smart still better? I think yes!
They're actually showing the game live on a big screen at Eden Park where people can take a blanket and sit and watch, for those who didn't get tickets to Mt Smart
