Weird that there was only 1 Warriors player in the Kiwis team that just thrashed Australia, in a season where the Warriors played great.

    Yeah guess so.

SJ said no (Needed a break), AFB plays for Tonga now. Harris retired from international footy. DWZ injured/rumoured to not play for NZ anymore.

There isn't really anyone else, perhaps Niukore? Madge said he did enquire about Egan though lol.

Noticed that during the game...is it because it was in Hamilton or do the NZ public just not care?

TBF to them I completely forgot it was on until my 10yr old messaged me from her mates place.

I'd forgotton too, found it by accident channel surfing. It was 6-0 when I found it then had to check that it was live and not a replay.

From a personal point of view, yeah. NRL over, I completely tuned out. 27 rounds and a month of finals, I'm done. For the most part I straight up forgot those internationals were being played.

Also, just my perspective of what I consider the average fan (most of my friends and family), there hasnt even been mention of the last few weeks of games.

Just watched the Kayo highlights of Maxwell's innings last night.

What a performance. Couldn't even walk because he was cramping so badly, but was just smashing sixes from a stationary position.

Yep and had back spasms too he was struggling to walk!

Sachin called it the best ODI innings of all time!

Credit to Afghanistan too they’ve really come on in leaps and bounds they’ve played great cricket this World Cup. Johnathan Trott coaching them has been great for them.
