If you pick Jed, your CTR is dead

Stop tempting me Dylan Lucas. Interesting he was a try scoring machine in NSW cup but a major outlier tackler in his NRL EDG starts last year

Bit awkward at that price, but I seem to remember many of us starting with Egan Butcher for a similar price last year. And Egan seems to have had less of a sample size at starting edge than Lucas does.

His stats are so weird. Averaged 42 tackles in EDG starts which is way above the average EDG. There’s only NButcher (44), Bateman (38, played in middle), Preston (38), Whitehead/Ford/Nikora (35), Burns/Wilton (34), Papali’i (32) as EDGs in the top 50 averages for tackles last year. You’d probably expect 5-10 point drop in average in tackles alone

Then in NSW cup he was try scoring machine but much more normal tackler around 25. KPP likely threat to mins

I'd rather pay up for a tackle bot try scorer, than take a guy like Piakura.

I'd imagine Cogger either starts in the halves or pushes out one of Gamble/Hastings at some stage.

If Brailey doesn't start the season, I would expect that between them, they cover HOK and Lock minutes.

Hi Guys, it’s been a couple of years, but the younger nephew is getting lippy about
his Fantasy skills and put out the challenge. So here we go again.

I’ve put together a team, to probably rip a part on TLT.

Speaking of TLT, how’s it working with Vegas ?
I’m guessing split round is it ?

    Let the Games begin.

Either a Riff 4 peat, or a Warriors 1st Ring for me this season.

Not split round (all in R1) but split TLTs

Is it bad I haven't looked into any of the prices/made a team yet?

I'm going to come in fresh on TLT, rather than being clouded by the pre season thoughts

Think its pretty easy to put together a squad after TLT tbh. Thats been my plan the last couple years.

Any chance that this Armstrong gets the knights vacant wing spot? He's had a very good game with great stats.

So had a couple of who’s your pick questions, but it seems 1 has
been answered with the Schuster news.

    Schuster (fit) or Leniu
    Lane or Lucas

'The worst player in the NRL' epithet gets thrown around a lot by folks here.

I've heard it over the last year or so of Sloan, Tommy Talau, Weekes, Alex Johnstone, Corey Allen, Turgess, Blake Taafe, Crossland, Levi, Perham and Schuster.

They may be equally poor of course, but maybe just 'a bit shit' would cover it.

    It’s Sloan.

He’s like a newborn animal out there, like where all of the arms and legs can’t coordinate and they get startled by any sound . But he could also grow into a graceful creature.

The rest are just below average guys

    From Scott Bailey:
Josh Schuster won't fly to Las Vegas with rest of Manly team on Wednesday. Manly have "saved" him for next week's pre-season match against Brisbane at Brookvale. Sea Eagles say still some chance he could fly to USA after the game, next Sunday.
