Added benefit that the CTR DPP will help cover any issues with Burbo that might arise.

Cobbo should be getting his hands on the ball more and have an abundance of opportunities whenever Walsh interjects himself into the line.
    Enjoyable pick for sure

If we was only WFB I wouldn't pick him, but at CTR he's entering keeper territory

If teams go as expected I think I'll be running with Arthurs and Burbo at centre locked in with the Vegas squad. Then TLT part 2 either dishes up a cheap centre (Strange in the halves, Iro after a Sharks injury) or I grab someone like Reimis Smith to cover the job security issue. I think running Burbo in the starting spot and having someone like Cotric as your only depth is just locking in a trade

Some of the youtube channels are talking up Leiataua's chances of getting a CTR spot for R1.

Penisini everyone. Remember the "fun" jokes about the penis you can all make when he's your pick-and-stick Centre!!

I heard Burbo was gonna gun it ...

You could run a 'Penis-burp' centre pairing just for the laughs.

$5 says Cobbo/Wighton CTR pairing will be close to 100% active teams ownership just before origin, with 80% of those still trying to eke out a few bucks from Burbo on the bench.

    This.
Unless there's an Edge / Centre dual who somehow gets the 80 min Edge role somewhere.
(And I'm not referring to Burbo)

Yeah, would be hoping he or someone like Kiraz are named CTR in teamlists and might have dual added prior to Rd 1.

Might just fuck Burbo off too after ET's dose of reality and looking at his stats again. Probably gonna have to downgrade Haas to Murray at some point.

Guys, don't forget Burbo has a sharp and well established combination with Luke Brooks.

The Raiders complained to the NRL about Kris not getting the exemption for the all stars but Jacob Gagai getting it.

    No dice, he's still suspended.

Something about the seriousness of the offence.

Looking forward to see Pearce-Paul in action on Saturday, I've watched some of his highlights and he looks fantasy relevant, plenty of offloads and TBs, big body, great acceleration, nice fend too

Probably gets eased in of the bench in the early rounds so may lose a little bit of coin. Maybe start with Blore and then switch to Pearce-Paul when Storm has their bye?

    Haha this

Feels priced about what he will score. Guess DPP is nice tho.

I think the DPP is everything, although..

While he is appropriately priced, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities to see an increase in tackles and touches of the ball. If he can maintain his meter totals and continue to break the line/tackles playing off Walsh, I can see 5 points of value and potential keeper status.

I may end up with him as well, but along with the questions over whether he is an NRL player...
    - Seibold has shown the "other" edge is probably a 50-60 minute edge.
    - Combined with a career output of about 0.5PPM (he won't be playing that Tigers team every week... or until R25 when you better hope you don't still have him!)
    - On one occasion he managed to string 5 games together (3 of those being 20mins or fewer)
    - IF he averages 25-30 from his 50-60 minutes for 4 or 5 weeks, is he really going to do enough to be worthwhile... maybe? (but it certainly ain't pretty)
    - Has a better player ready to take his spot, assuming the said better player can get fit and uninjured...

It seems like a probably inevitable but slightly regrettable pick that we're all going to resent to some degree

Furthermore, Burbo does have a cool name and his brothers are really good players....

I asked this question before a week or so ago but are NRL fantasy smart enough to have 2 separate DPP sweeps pre R1 when Cobbo is probably the only Vegas player that should get DPP
