I've owned him before.. twice. Just don't. Quickly go to footystats and check out how many times he's played 40 mins.

His 44 average in 46mins from 2022 could well be in reach if he stays fit. Bunnies have played a 4 middle bench last fews anyway with Cook playing 80. He’s priced at 35, decent pick.

Excluding injury games, Tatola had the same minutes in 2023 as in 2022, both at 48 minutes. There is some value because of the injury games, which puts him at a 39 average, priced at 35.

You are relying on him getting back to his barnstorming form over a 5 game period in 2022, when he scored 4 tries with scores that included an 82, 77 and a 58.

With the Souths tough early draw and an under-strength team, I wouldn't be banking on Tatola scoring 4 tries early in the season to be able to upgrade him later.

Ok have Murray (vc), Tatola, Wong, Piakura, BURBO at starting CTR lol, Sitili 14

Might pick some backs for next weekend.

I think the 21 is fairly safe and reliable, with a bit of flexibility between MID3/CTR1/WFB3 where I'm not settled but have some wiggle room.

Otherwise will just be selection surprises.

Evening gents. I'm a bit late getting started this year but am buoyed by my promotion from L9 to L8 in the offseason. Watch out L1ers, I'll be ready to join you by 2031 - just in time for the new franchise based on Mars.

Have a 17 of sorts but that will change no doubt.

Code to my league is 4FKMS64K - come on over.

    Looking forward to it.

Jacob Gagai averages 29 in NSW Cup, though playing in a bunch of different positions:

45 games at fullback for 32 average
22 games at centre for 25 average
14 games at wing for 26 average
    5 games at 5/8 for 31 average

26 average on the wing with low job security isn't ideal, and I was keen

Mate what is the mins breakdown looking like @rhinoceroo and MS is it too risky to take both edges at the Roosters? Do you think Wong gets enough mins, you would think Sitili is the 80mins guy?

Hate to be a party pooper but this split TLT is such a bummer. I loved the feeling of waiting for the full team lists and crafting a team. Now it's like getting 2 presents on Christmas Day and having to wait another week before you can open the other 6.

I'm hearing lots of negativity towards our beloved and much admired Spencer Leniu.

I will not stand for this!

Have you seen his highlight reel? Titled the Ultimate Impact Machine?!

    But more importantly!

Have you forgotten why we buy players? We buy for fantasy-friendly playstyles. We buy for low, low prices. We buy to have fun watching them. We buy for change of roles. We buy for change of teams. We buy to win!

Point to those laws, as handed down from SI and written on the back of a beer coaster he'd been using to wipe his menthol lip-gloss on, and tell me where there's a better starting MID!.

Oh, you may take your Tatola's with 100k of plodding in them. Or your bench props, who may make the team next week but may not.

But what our bright-eyed Spanky Lenny gives us is a row of checked boxes further than the eye can see on a moderately clear day whilst standing on a small chair in a Sydney park.

Ride! For Rohan! They can never take our Freedom! If IT BLEEDS WE CAN KILL IT!!!!

Correction, it’s Ponga, Pappy and Turbo. The rest of my team is somewhat passable (I think, though I haven’t decided on centres, and one of the above might have to go in favour of Penisini). Currently:

    Grant
    Hopgood Cotter Hughes
    Lane Smithies
    Cleary Moses
    Burbo Schiller
    Turbo Ponga Pap
    Piakura Salmon Hutcho Weekes

With such poop in the centres, I’ll have to be careful with my 18-21 options. You don’t want to be in a position where you have to pull apart your team to cover someone who gets dropped after 1 game…

    Might just Ctrl +C.

    Cheers mate!

What’s the chances when JWH is back could N. Butcher move back to edge with Sitili or Wong going back to bench. Or do we just just think Whyte drops off the bench?

Leniu just needs 40 minutes to make money

So by my calculations he'll make money 3 out of every 4 weeks

If they line up this way for the game, Whyte dropping off for JWH looks like the easy selection choice.
