He might only have one week of usefulness and you don’t want to miss it

People appear to be equally anxious that Burbo is only gonna get one week as those who are worried that Schuster wont play R2. Both cannot be true. I think people picking Burbo have more to worry about. There are a wealth of other potential EDG HLF options at the 400k mark. But there may be decidedly fewer 250k guys.

Mate you know very well that you can't fit in all the guns. You could look at literally anyone's starting team and be like "Wow no _________?"

Last year Rabbits would ask "what, no Grant" for every team posted without him.
Grant then started the year on fire

Early signs are this year Rabbits will be questioning teams about their lack of Haas (as well as querying Rhino about 'Cotter mate? Or Robson or Grant?')

Is there a correlation between Rabbits noticing you don't have a player, and that player scoring well?

My reading is that very few people here appear worried Schuster won't play R2.

They may rather be expecting him not to play R2.

They may have formed this view by observing Schuster wasn't fit enough to be in the same hemisphere as the first grade team for the game a week earlier.

I get you are uncertain about your risky pick. But posting repeatedly on it may not substantially alter the underlying probabilities.

Now that leagues are finalized I suppose it's time to officially launch Fantasy Fantasy for this season (even though I already have a few entries)

    Anyway,

Fantasy Fantasy is Back for 2024

The only change for this year is the closing date for entries. With the split round, you now have until next Thursday to get your entries in
Details on how to enter can be found at the link below:

    https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t2357-fantasy-fantasy-2024#746065

If you were in the FOG last year and you want to see your results, they can be found here

If you want to see who is in each ranked league this year; those details can be found here

    Cheers

Dude, if you don't like it scroll past. I was replying to someone who was worried about Burbo being only available for 1 round which is directly related to Schuster playing in R2

And if Burbo kills it? He's had big wraps for years, no permanent role and he's 1st grade ready now. You don't start someone on an edge unless they're in your plans. This game is all risk/reward/luck.

Toyed with the idea of a Cheese Tatola Sitili mid set up, lets you run Grant Moses Ponga, for example

But I’d take the consistency of gun MIDs over those

At this stage I'm not. Will find out next week if I could possibly swing it, and then go for Hopgood.

Murray is basically in the same scenario as Haas was last year where he’s priced basically at his floor (57 BE)

    In games 50+ mins
    2021: 62.2 (65.8 mins). For 60+ mins 65.1 (69.7 mins)
    2022: 67.4 (70.2 mins). For 60+ mins 68.5 (72 mins)
    2023: 58.8 (69.6 mins). For 60+ mins 62.6 (72.8 mins)

ALL OF HAAS, HOPGOOD AND MURRAY ARE GOOD OPTIONS

    Wow no Harris bro

This is moving way too fast for today but thanks all for the responses to my Burbo loop questions5-6 pages ago

I think it confirmed for me:
    Start Burbo over Strange
If Strange out, use Kris to loop bench. Or just get another base price guy if it exists

Don’t like the options where Burbo is 18th

He also just got awarded a 3 year contract and is 22 years old.

Like Kini, there is an outside chance that he can make the position his own with some strong performances.

Schuster's versatility could come back to bite him and he might be preferred playing from the bench upon his return.

I also saw a comment about Aitken risk with last game

I think if he’s named to start he’s a must, although I’m getting a lot of must EDGs now.

Anyway would be tempted to run him as an extra CTR and if he’s a late scratch flip to Fleg or Luki?

Or just take Avo with not much value attached because he’s a relatively cheap starting CTR

Shame that Zac Laybutt fella gets no discount like he would’ve in the good ol days

Think it was just slight twinge of the hammy and expected to line up for round one? He could become Lussick of course, but I suspect the poll would be the same. I just really want to pick Brails and Holmes, but I agree, Grant/Kris is the head over heart decision.
