looks like tyrone roberts is out for the titans. cam cullen likely to debut in halves:

Yeah I do alright.

Had a pretty shit week last week (only got 732), but had to deal with a couple suspensions, key injury and a couple rubbish individual performances. Hoping for better this week.

I have traded M Cherrington > Parcell & DCE > Bowen which keeps my predicted score roughly the same, has freed up a bit of cash for future upgrades and has dealt with one of the many dud players in my squad.

So we are probably better off getting non-origin guns/semi-guns from Broncoes (if there is any), Bulldogs (Graham/Tolman/Mybe), Raiders (Vaughan, Fensom, Sezer etc) and Cowboys because they all play round 12 and 13. Then reassess for round14. Don't think there are any keepers from Tigers and Knights that don't play origin. And no Sam Mataora is not a keeper.

Have decided on DCE > Milford and Grant > DeBelin

Just heard a part of an interview with Isaac Luke - thought it might interest some of you.

On his fitness and being pulled from the field Luke said ha hadn't been doing much running of late. Asked if it was due to injury Luke said "Nah", asked if it was an attitude thing, Luke said "Nah", asked to elaborate as to why his fitness is poor, Luke said "Only I know". End of interview...

I understand Luke has recently had (another?) baby and it also seems there may have been complications with his wife only just coming home. Perhaps he has had other things on his mind and that has meant his fitness has suffered. Perhaps give him another few weeks and he should be back to a 80min player.

Weird interview though - he sounded like a bit of a dick to me.

Fensom probably has the highest ceiling.
J-Turbo probably least injury-prone and better role (not job) security than JDB.

I've gone with JDB myself but there's not much between him and J-Turbo. Fensom isn't DPP and I don't think he's quite what he once was.

I mean Woods is struggling to even hit 50 and as mentioned previously he's getting big minutes but they're not quality minutes plus from the moment I got him I always intended to trade him out pre bye-rounds anyway. Is it sound enough logic or is just me trying to justify my dissatisfaction with Woods? If I did trade him out based on averages I'll take around a 10 point hit but would it be better in the long run???

Traded out Woods for Gavet after two weeks.
Never regretted trading out Woods but have regretted choosing Gavet to bring in.

Either way, it gave me the cash to sure up my forwards so now I have Surgess, JDB, Parker, Taupau, Whitehead as my starting pack.

This game is about points. Cash gets you points in the future. Points get you points now. Figure out how many points you'll lost in the short-term vs how many you intend to make-up in the future. Be conservative in your estimates.

Had heard Matai and Walker rumours but first I've heard of J-Turbs. Guess that makes it easier for those tossing up between he and JDB.

In true KOD fashion, I call out that J-Turbo is not injury prone.
