Melbourne are one team that have no issue playing bench "edges" through the middle. But yeah, nfi.
I thought a few people commented that Blore looked sluggish in the trial. I didnt pay much attention.
Ill probably pass on him, but only because you cant have them all
Yeah i heard he was terrible so i'm surprised he'd start there straight away. Was hoping he'd come off the bench to work up fitness with the Melbourne system under Bellamy and then grab him later for one of the fat cows once got the fitness up and got a start instead of bench.

Wonder how the EDG minutes will be spread having Chan there?
Bellamy not opposed to having a sub play no/limited minutes (normally its a utility, not a forward)
But either way, I'd guess Chan would get a small role, and possibly via either edge rotating into the middle.
Barring injury Loiero/Katoa both played 80 just about every week last year

With the Rooster edges on offer Blore becomes a post round 4 bye round trade in option if he looks the goods
Roosters edges aren't amazingly tempting
Both have issues with job security, on top of actually scoring the points we want. Just because someone starts on an edge for a good team, doesn't mean points just magically start accruing.
Luckily there is enough potential value on edge that if one doesn't work out it shouldn't be too hard to swap to one who looks better.
Main issue will be deciding whether to panic trade after a poor round 1 score or not

Sitili will be missing a million tackles in Vegas with all the crabbing from the opposition on the slim field.
Meanwhile Haas will be making a million tackles with hardly any misses.

For everyone talking about those WFBs that are priced well above what they will be later in the season... Bryce Cartwright is priced about 100k less than his peak last year. I know there is value at lower prices , but is this not the very definition of a SUB GUN POD (1% ownership - and yes before you comment i know this makes no difference to why you should pick him)
In contrast Hopgood is priced above his peak price
Does anyone do stats on this for all players?
This could be a pathway to unlocking hidden value - for example Plath price would have been around 300k if there was a r28 last year - fast forward to the new season and he is priced 500k

Does anyone know why Kiraz missed the trials? I know he has an injury, but what?

Not sure but i know they should drop Taafe and put him fullback so Xerri can get a run.

Ah ok, cheers mate. I had no idea he'd even get back on, then flick on fox league just now and he is on the panel at Vegas.

One last confirmation guys - my draft is about to start -
12 players in a snake format
I’ve be randomly given pick 5
Hynes > Cleary > dce/SJ > haas are the 4 going before me.
I was going to go Grant but having many people tell me I’m stupid if I don’t take ponga.
My strategy is purely based on quality players per position. Taking Grant solves a pretty thin hooker pool but also aware that 3 halfbacks are also going before me in the first round ..
Cheers guys !

A crap back wouldn't be good for fullback. Must be why Taaffe gets first dibs.
