Most likely best option, unless you also wanted to grab someone from the Tigers like Olam.

Using Kris, you can switch him to WFB Week 2 to cover Kini's bye (if you've gone that root). Would mean you're not forced to have 3 scoring CTR's in your 17 each week (assuming you keep playing Burbo as a starting CTR).

If Burbo is at 18, don't necessarily need a centre to get his score.

Just pick your centres at normal and then chuck a red dot of any position in 14-17. If there is a Tiger you want that works nicely

I think it's not just the coding mess, its that it transfers the issue from one of complaining about bad luck (on field injuries) to complaining about unfairness of a game rule.

So I think Fanhub could (should?) be able to code something like:
    - if a starter plays <20 mins, you get an AE

    That's pretty simple and clean

But then what if your starter with less than 20 mins still outscores the AE?
What if your bench player goes on in the 22nd minute and off in the 24th with HIA?
It would also capture other injuries, or the very unlikely player gets subbed early and never returns

    Just a can of worms.

The best change would be larger squad sizes so it's easier to deal with the week after.

Let's revisit 2023 to see if knee jerking after a few games is worth it

    First game Eels vs Storm

Popular options Hopgood, Loiero and Katoa put up good games. Josh King scores 77 points and gets some attention from a few posters (myself included). This was his highest score of the year with a final average of 48. Hybrid Role(tm) NAS scores 53 and sets a year long trap

    Second game Warriors vs Knights

Tohu pumps out a 70 and becomes a very popular trade in target. This was his highest score of the year

    Panthers vs Broncos

Liam Martin scores a 61 over the much more popular Garner(25). Soni Luke scores 39 bringing fantasy coaches to beg for him to start over Kenny.

Carrigan outscores Haas in what ends up being a very solid fantasy season

Maybe we(not me) should pump the breaks on May based on a single game sample size(with 2 injuries). For every Carrigan there is a Josh King, NAS or Luke who show a world of promise and don't deliver

You're either a "guest" just trying to stir the pot, or a regular who's created an alt to stir the pot.

Fanhub would build whatever the NRL wanted if the NRL was willing to pay for the dev work..

May is continuing how he finished last season and has a season with a 60 average in NSW Cup, not a 1 game wonder.

What about Smithies instead of May?
60/70 minute Lock, 1ppm, similar price, what's not to like?

At the moment I've got Lolo sitting in my team and don't particularly want him, May would've been ideal for that spot with hindsight of course. Only have a spare $50k atm though and things could get very tricky if some cheapies aren't named as expected tomorrow. Locking in funds with Cook and Teddy was a future me problem at the time.

Yeah same.. had to punt Lolo last night just to ease the pain of missing May. At least our two guns did gun things and the midrangers did what you'd expect. Scored shit and got injured.

Rabbitohs have released prop forward Daniel Suluka Fifita from the remainder of his playing contract, effective immediately, to take up an opportunity with another NRL Club.

Might be that time of year where he moves back to the Roosters
