Not good, probably not the worst. Everyone in my team that cost over $421k went fine, everyone except Burbo under that did not.

Going to assume for the rest of the season that everyone ahead of me has cheated.

Random question , but what is this 'round 0' the AFL are doing?

Is it preseason , or is it for competition points? Why are they calling it 0

My wife is friends with Foina and plays fantasy sometimes

She is currently 620/12c

Its a normal round ie part of the week to week comp. I have no idea why theyve called it 'opening round' and rhen next week is round 1. Its actually fucking stupid.

The whole point was supposedly to capitalise on the nrl being in vegas by having four games in qld and nsw but then they did it on the actual week that nrl was being played here and not the vegas weekend

isn’t it because they launched the season outside VIC so the Melbourne teams got mad

So round 0 is the first half of the split round and Round 1 is so Melbourne clubs can say the season kicked off with the traditional opener of the Fumblers vs the Seagulls chasing the Hot Chip

Its not really a split round tho cos lions played yesterday and then play next week as well (same for the other teams that played this weekend)

Do it seems 'round 0' was the Afl trying to capitalise on the NRL going to Vegas by playing games in NSW and QLD

But they played it a week late when everything was back to normal and NRL had games on at the same time.
Seems a bit of a dud move . And didn't work here because the first I heard of it was when it was about to finish

Wow yeah it’s 4 games in round 0 then the full 9 in round 1. Don’t know when the other 10 teams make up for not playing R0. Very weird

It’s not a bad marketing tactic if they played the games in the correct week.

Hutch - and I'd agree that compared to the rest that's okay with me. Hope he holds his spot and Dogs improve.

Salmon - did he score a point at CTR? Pretty sure he didn't. Just have to hold and hope for now.

Hughes - yep, doesn't look like much action here.

Kini - I didn't think he was specifically bad considering how bad the Titans were overall. I'd hope for more from the Titans, and him as a consequence. Not overly hopeful, though.

V.Fifita - as noted above, I swapped him in for Flanno late in the piece. I'm not sitting here devastated I didn't get Flanno, but I am frustrated that there is no disputing the fact that he will need to be moved on. Annoyingly, his PPM was gold with 13 points in 12mins. But they obviously have absolutely zero plans to include him in the squad this year. Can't see him holding a place on the bench, and with 12min stints it doesn't even matter if he does.

So the 2nd half of the split round will happen randomly throughout the season.
Or the teaams that played just have an extra bye at some point?

That must have been fun for Fantasy .

Yep, when you get 12 minutes in a game and have Sele, Lawrie and Lucy to come into the team, things are looking grim.

I didnt mean he was bad. He lacks a bit of size. Not going to bust tackles 1v1, every time he carried the ball he was being swallowed. He looked keen for a run, but in a side like titans there isnt much chance to get on the end of attack.
