The weird thing about the AFL is that I actually got a message from AFL SC to get my team in as kick off is in however many hours, on Thursday just passed.

I must admit I don't ever watch, or know a single player in the AFL, nor do I ever get their team lists and I miss 99% of what happens in it... but I just have an SC team because why not? But there was this notice to get teams in, but as y'all have noted, it hasn't actually even started yet. There's another notice on the site saying scoring doesn't start until next week. So not sure what all the fuss about getting teams in was about.

How’d Rd 2 of the Clubbies go today Rabs? Better than my fantasy team I hope.

I didnt mean he was bad. He lacks a bit of size. Not going to bust tackles 1v1, every time he carried the ball he was being swallowed. He looked keen for a run, but in a side like titans there isnt much chance to get on the end of attack.

Agreed, which raises an interesting point. Will Campbell actually even be worth bringing in when it's his turn if Titans still look that bad?

Assuming that success this season is going to be working out how to generate cash as fast as possible, while not putting in terrible scoring in the interim, I am really tempted to drop Cotter down to Lolo, and give myself a $220k bank to start upgrading some of these <$300k players for next tier up.

It has definitely started.. i went to the lions first game of their season yesterday. Not really by choice. It was a sell out, fwiw. But the lions are good it was always going to be a sell out regardless of what week they started.

Considering the awful scoring we've had from locks this week might not be an awful idea.

I dont think success is based around generating cash as fast as possible tbh.

Obvs fixing dud players is important.

He will be coming back in with Foran and Fifita. They are basically the same team as last season then, but with Fermor as well and AJ at CTR.

Campbell scored well when playing fullback in that team last season - 44 average, priced at 33.

Eels v Dogs game has reset scores to 0 on footystats just now. No change to NRLF yet though.

Yep. As I was saying above, I've been thinking about just holding them all, except V.Fifita, because who knows what happens next week. Just got to hope they're all named again.

Yeah, I assume you'd still have to take the punt. If this sort of gear continues, though, it might not be affordable for everyone.

if you have neither .. you might be slightly annoyed about not having one of them but its probably not that big of a deal.

And ... in the wash-up of Rd.1 shit half versus shit half, Flanno 28 (but saved you nearly $50k) > Hutcho 29.

One of them scored a try, the other did it in base. Wink

I think hutch was on 34 before the zero'ing.

Guess we'll see if flanno gets a huge update for passing it lots

    There are a few options:
    Jsaif
Henry (has the Leniu 35 minutes from last season)
RFM should have a low single digit BE next week and was beasting, With JDB getting 55 minutes, it seems there may be some minutes available in that pack.
    Eisenhuth
Seyfarth if named at lock next week

Hutch updated to 34 mate, 29 is his predicted BE. Dunno what's happening with the scores from that game though after the screw up. Feels pointless planning anything really.
