Question though of how many minutes he gets in a normal game.

Hopefully 60 minutes at lock, 20 minutes on the edge, but seems unlikely

Would expect standard rotation may be more like 25 mins MID, then 20 mins EDG, finish with 10-15 at MID. Would be a good 55-60 minutes total and decent scoring.

Not a great round 1, with all the injury affected players

Tupouniua: 43mins, off with groin injury - 22 points
Piakura: 4 mins, off with HIA - 0 points
Moses: 23 mins, groin injury, no kicking duties - 32 points
Salmon: 41 mins, positional switch to CTR - 29 points

At least 3 out of these 4 are highly owned

Weather pretty rubbish in Brisbane today.

Going to be slippery, moist even.

Haha forgot about Piakura. Yeah he’s a pretty straightforward hold if named to go again.

I think if Kikau doesn’t go off injured then he doesn’t get moved surely. Just an unfortunate series of events.

on salmon...they were unlucky with jac's injury it stuffed up the bench rotations so we're unclear on his role but i'd imagine play the 1st 30 mins & come on for the last 20-25 mins...he was going great up to the kikau injury then getting moved to the ctrs he was on track for at least 40 odd points...he is not a problem was very busy at lock unless he's benched round 2

Mann was a standout in a poor side.

common when does he ever have a bad game he's awesome you're preaching to the converted & i'm also the treasurer of the kurt mann fan club but he's too small to start he's better coming on when the big boys are tired so they can't smash him & break his brittle frame.

I’ve seen a few grumblings about Ponga’s score but honestly at any point any of the premium full backs can pull out a 20-30. As @ms keeps saying it’s pretty rare that a fullbacks price doesn’t fluctuate by a few hundred grand over the course of a season.
If you bought him you’ve got to stick firm. I took Turbo against my natural inclination and while he did well and looked great I won’t be surprised if he shits the bed at some point. Teddy Is really the only one who can grind out a 40 in a badly beaten side.

i bet people will sell then he goes large round 2...it's the corey parker syndrome i vaguely remember years ago parker shat the bed then he was sold en masse & went super large the next game. it was in the sportal days.

Whats the deal with CNKs injury anyway? He is listed as TBC on the casualty ward. Tuaupiki would be interesting if there was more clarity on how long he would hold that spot.

The worst thing about this round is that there are no stand-out cashcows, usually there are a couple of cows that you have missed, not this season, unless one pops up in today's game

Maybe the Tigers will provide one

Definitely, depending on what happens with Chan.

I'm selling Moses to Fog (that groin injury ruins the plan I had for owning Moses so no point staying on there), and that will free up enough money to trade either Chan or Kini to Terrell May.
