The way the Tigers are looking gassed Hosking could go feral in the second half

Seyfarth is not first grade standard. Certainly not starter level
Was one of the worst players on the field in the first 15 minutes. Will be giving a huge sample size of NSW cup stats the rest of the season

Not sure it's his fault the first try. He ran from marker and made a diving tackle on Bula about 15m away. Raiders were short on that side, think it's probably Rapana's fault for not getting the defence to slide right. Also it was just a gangbusters play from the tigers (very sneaky from Bula).rhinoceroo wrote:
Hosking's been fantastic with the ball (against the Tigers). Their first try was his fault though, which is the sort of thing Ricky notices. Stick also incredibly loyal to his old guys (like Croker) so would be really surprised if Whitehead doesn't come back in, with Hosking a weapon from the bench. If that's a few weeks away though, Hosking will still have made a lot of points/money.
I think/hope Whitehead comes back via the bench, and plays as a MID/EDG hybrid interchange. He's getting older anyway so likely won't play 80 super well. I can see Hosking starting and playing 60 minutes, and Whitehead playing 20 minutes through the middle then moving out to the edge. Either that or he starts on the edge and then moves to the middle when Hosking comes on 20 minutes in.
I don't know if it's just perception, but Hosking always looks absolutely cooked out there. Doesn't seem to affect his performance, so probably just his face haha

His wife took his laptop off him just as Benji hooked Seyfarth.

If they'd played round 1 it would have been a different story.
They have a few tempting options but nothing people wanted to risk starting with given the bye

Hosking well worth the risk getting him early. Surely keeps his spot?

Pretty unlucky to only score 10 then. Should've been at least 15.

R1 bye a factor followed by a big “wait and see” round 2.
Not sure many going to increase in what we’re seeing though!

Meanwhile, I'm sure Smithies broke a tackle on his first run. *composes email*
