I honestly thought you were half enjoying have a sledge with me given the cryptic nature of your messages.

Reckon it's safer to reverse a Mariota to Hynes trade and make it a wfb ? No WFB backup and with next week having Paps out, get in early ?

Maybe, but you have Hosking so he can probably comfortably go for a WFB next week?

I don't always keep up with everything that's said, and aren't really going to start comparing situations.
Targeting is not okay, and I can see with Lukeayee's recent post that this wasn't his intention, so hopefully there is some resolution there.

Just in general it would be good if everyone remembers that this community is made of people with a shared love of quite literally a fantasy game, but that we all can have diverse life experiences and perspectives. The diversity of opinions & viewpoints can make conversations rich, but also means we aren't always going to agree with everyone - which is fine.

I enjoy parenting at home, I don't really want to have to parent in here (I'm sure the other mods feel the same) - so would rather people don't put us in a position where we feel we have to (and the vast majority of fanatics are great)

Wondering if I should reverse my Wong > May trade. Any whys or why nots would be appreciated.

    My thoughts are:
Pros - he's a beast, if he can get 50 mins he's golden
Cons - stacked rooter pack, can he keep getting 50 mins?

If I reversed it I'd bank about 100k. Would also mean I play SHughes straight up.

I don't have a problem with it. Pissed that we lost Walsh for the game and future weeks but I don't want the game to go down that route.

It was an accident, I don't buy into the whole duty of care thing in that situation. He rushed out of the line against a guy with electric foot work and they clashed heads. Are we going to say guys shouldn't rush at defenders any more because their could be accidental contact ? It's a contact game, shit happens at times.

I don't want that to happen, but yeh sure has enough in him to cover that next week. Just thought is it advisable to get one wfb out the way this week.

I would be looking to get rid of any red dots this week if you can, if you’ve got the 2-3 Storm combo next week (Grant/Papenhuyzen/Chan) you could be scraping 17

Exactly how i see it. I fear we are on the edge of dropping over to stuff like this being illegal, but hopefully theirs a middle ground somewhere.

It would of been a send off in union or the super league.

Would of been a shit show if that happened.

I'm happy to penalise it. But no sinbin/suspension.

    I forgot about this.

Definitely agree use the trade now. I'm at four red dots with Grant, Pap, Chan, and Walsh out next week. I also have Wong who I couldn't trade out this week. Definitely make room

Not this time but they'll set a precedent at some stage. It'll go the same as union. You won't be able to callously throw yourself at an attacking player and cause a head clash without being sent to the bin at least.

They've really got to limit their liability before they get the pants sued off them as an organisation.

Surprisingly I do have cover for next week. Well, dependent on what happens this weekend. Currently have:

Papy, but have Hammer + Kini
Chan, with enough cover in the forwards

    Options of:

Curran, but minutes aren't guaranteed and means I have three dogs which is putrid.

FF, but not sure I want another uncertainty.

    I hate Fantasy Football.

We survived getting rid of the shoulder charge and people were crying that it was the end of the sport.
We'll survive players having avoid slamming their heads into the opposition in a tackle.

Yeh I know Ur right, it's either got to be accepted by the participants as part of the game and consequence or perhaps the game like League just will change as we know it now.

That's where I'm at. Stopped watching Union ages ago bar big events and these accidental contact red cards are ridiculous. Union could go a long way in fixing by making those type of reds a send off for player but another player comes on after 10 mins or something
