Damien the beach sprinter!!! Played very well on Friday I was impressed. Non owner though but just happy generally in how he played.Mulvy wrote:
I see your Flanagun trade out and raise you a Cook trade out.

i was out today and just catching up.
Looks like I made a mistake in trading out Flanagan a couple of weeks ago. I still own Levi and Shoes
Also, the obstruction rule has been like this for many, many, years now.
Rather than complain about it, I think a good idea would be for teams to practice running decoys that don't stop in the line or impede any defenders

Haha same boat here. Think I’ll still do it unless Talagi has a decent role for the Eels tomorrow.BBowler wrote:
Suffering a bit of Catch32 with Campbell, as a non-owner looking to buy next week I’m pleased he missed his BE (32), but now doubting I want him because he got less than 32.

No 8 point try?
syn13 wrote:I think the easiest solution to stopping players from diving is to not have your players run decoys where they end up standing in the defensive line and then get all ‘surprised pikachu face’ when they get pinged for obstruction, it’s not like they haven’t had like 4 years to figure it out and still manage to do it every other game.

Yep, I'm on the same page. Even though it was a stupid no try call, there's no reason for JWH to stop running right in front of Edwards. Just keep jogging through and there's no obstruction call and it's a try. Same as Jake Trbojevic last week, just keep on running

It's always a worry singling someone out on here (who could forget the Chewie debacle of 2022 when our favourite Wookie made a rookie dookie and excluded 93% of the Forum). Although to his credit, Chew slowly dragged it back via 13 edits to eventually only ostracise 87% of us!
But a special shout out to NW for climbing up on top of the Leichhardt scoreboard to announce my 50th
