That's probably a little hard on the Dragons.
They had some good preseason efforts, won well in their first outing. Failed to turn up in any capacity in the second.
Then played a decent first half in the third, before being blown away in the second half by a team that goes white hot when they're hot.

One thing I'll say about coach Flanagan is that he seems to know how to simplify a team and players tend to know their role.
Defence is an attitude yadda yadda, and you'd expect a team to have some volatility under a new coach and with some significant roster changes.

Manly have obvious roster talent, a questionable coach, and haven't really down the consistency required to be a top 4 team.
They should've still been good enough to take down St George and not sure why they're not clicking better, but St George turning up and making it hard was always a possibility (although Turbo could still have scored a tonne in that eventuality still).

Basically, yeah match ups, and peeps dooming bottom 8 teams...

If I neglect my team for long enough this week maybe I can pretend a lot of them havnt disappointed me massively this year.

Side note: having 6 Raiders in the game tonight surely has more bad scenarios than good for their collective scoring

I suspected that if the Panthers lost this week, there might have been an outside chance of him returning early (assuming he was okay enough).
But having won, it makes sense to give him the extra two weeks either way.

The 3peat premiers wouldn't rush their best player back for round 5 off a loss. They'd back themselves from anywhere in the top 8 and deservedly so.

That’s the guiding principle of my NRLF philosophy, has come in very handy this season.

Who we all tipping today? I went Warriors/Raiders, I'm assuming that's the more popular choice...
