We will get the Storms final 17 before the Roosters game eh? If I go Blore, I am a little concerned Chan is a late into the 17 in which I will likely go to Gus.

I don’t think it’s fantasy googles but if (and it’s a big if) Iro matches the IRL hype and is a first grader, then I think Talakai is a better edge and backline cover player. Gives the Sharks bench better balance too, they’ve always looked a bit MID heavy

With AFB next year, you’d think they have to let a few fringe guys go

Agreed! In Fantasy he is a hard avoid but in SC or Dreamteam he is an absolute must. In SC for example if he scores 50 (effectively just needs a try and kick returns) he will increase by 150k.

R2: Tatola (arguably luxury but not great role)
R3: Luki (injured) and Wong (dropped)
R4: Cleary (injured) and Kini (dropped)
R5: Burbo (peaked) and Chan (injured/dropped)
R6: Rapana (injured) and Sitili (benched/dropped)

I wonder what trades will be forced next

    Aint that the truth.
For the Bludgers the carnage looks like this >

R2: Leniu (idiot got suspended) + SOS (spud was dropped) for Bodyslam + Duncan (Good / Bad trades)
R3: Haas (injury) + Wong (dropped) for Hynes (highest ave player available) + Galvin (Shiny new toy)
R4: Kini (dropped) + Tuaupiki (dropped) for Talagi (shiny new toy) + RTS (wanted JS, points potential and a 'fun' pick)
R5: Kiraz (role/points) + Toups (spud) for KPP (role increased) + Gutho (Moses out factor)
R6: Duncan (dropped. failed cow) + Chan (dropped failed cow) for Angus (cheap former gun) + Chevy (shiny new toy)

Basically I made some dumb initial squad selections that I have had to clean up (Roosters forwards), and have been trying to capture lightning by seeking out a cow that may pay off.
The irony is Hosking (in hindsight) was pretty obviously a clear-cut money maker, and I had argued that Fog would dominate KMs etc at the Raiders (but against my own advice picked SOS instead).

    Oof.

Yeah, I was toying with that idea myself too. I thought if I went cheaper options or cows, I had Carrigan as a safe captain choice, now that's in question.

Most of the talk is about A Crichton, anyone interested in S Crichton back at FB?

Already $157k down on his starting price. I guess you'd probably wait and see this week then get him after the bye...

Would you rather have a mid tier 5/8 who barely kicks at all, or an extremely talented genuine 7 who does almost all the kicking

May only be for 1-2 weeks assuming Taafe goes back in once he recovers from concussion.

I don't actually need a half, already have 5 in my team. I'm just considering all options, and these two both have good JS and should make a decent bit of money.

But probably stuffs up my team balance more than it already is. Lack of mid range Mids and Edges that look like they'll make any money is making this weeks trades difficult

If you think Waddell holds the spot over Burbo he is an absolute steal at his price. Might take the risk in autofill.

Watching Chricton play FB highlights what a great centre he is. It’s just like Burton at 5/8. Canterbury pays a lot of guys FB money so they think they can actually play FB. Canterbury have been looking for a proper FB for years but for sone reason never actually buy an established FB, just guys in other positions that want to be FB’s.

With no Haas/Cleary the captain roulette continues. Was fucked by Pappy last week…. So he gets it again. Surely doggies at Aami park he can have a blinder

Cotric is my out so I’d have to spend $60K to upgrade to Chester.

He is my preferred target but questioning if I’m better saving that coin for other upgrades.

I’m thinking he could become my starting centre once he gets DPP.
