True, but it's not like Taafe exactly demands a spot so if he does alright he could hold it. The point would be less what position he's playing and more his price anyway. Would be hoping for a bounceback and hopefully getting a keeper centre for 450k.

This Iro conundrum is terrifying me. Starting with Galvin worked a treat, however the Kini, Bradley, Chan, Talagi trades haven’t. Excluding Cleary and Galvin my 16-21 are pretty ordinary so I can’t really afford another flop. I can use either a FB or a centre so still have no idea if Iro or Chevy is the go. Anyone got their reserve grade stats for comparison? I was considering Campbell, but at twice the price there appears no value anymore.

    Brave!

Probably back to M(c)Innes for me, surely he's good for one more week of big mins before they get some forwards back.

Cotric is my out so I’d have to spend $60K to upgrade to Chester.

He is my preferred target but questioning if I’m better saving that coin for other upgrades.

I’m thinking he could become my starting centre once he gets DPP.

I ended up going with Chester. Looking at his scores when not coming off the bench is base stats are pretty solid. Mostly at fullback but even in R3 at ctr this year his run metres and TB are pretty consistent. He does play on the less favoured edge of the field but is a bloke that doesn’t mind the hard work so can see him coming in for some runs, also playing in a team full of attack he should get his opportunity for tries, assists, LB’s, etc.

Pretty bad case - he plods along a few 30’s and makes a little coin until Valemei gets a run
Pretty good case - gets DPP, starting centre, decent floor with the odd big score to bump that average up around high 30’s. If he can average around 35-38 he has another 130-150 K to make.
Best case - see above, but his scores push more around 38-42 and is a set and forget centre for the rest of the year

Cook or Tedesco for the trade out?
Ones needs to go this week leaning cook with how much turmoil the club is in.
surely no chance of coming in on game day with it being such a big deal.
Just hope Teddy is only gone for the week?

Yep if I was able to ditch one it would be Cook with the bye next week as well

My other conundrum this week is do I bring in SJ this week (with one cheapie) or do it next week and bring in both Iro and Chevy this week. If I bring in SJ this week my halves will be SJ, Cleary, Fogarty, Galvin (and Strange). Is that overkill at the expense of a gun centre? This is why Iro looks like a gift from the Gods! Surely if something looks far too good to be true then it must be a lock in your Fantasy side.

Yep, 100% I’d be going with the kick metre guy every time.

To add onto this, it's not just that he does a lot of kicking, his kicks are also very effective in a game sense. He doesn't just put up midfield bombs, his kicks have a lot of hang time and drift.

Also he digs into the line a lot in attack and isn't afraid of contact. Might be fantasy goggles but I think he's the future NSW halfback if he picks NSW (with Cleary moving to 6 like JT did)

Anyone else considering a Papenhuyzen Captencuyzen?

20 v Panthers and 24 v Broncos yes. But 81 v Warriors and 51 v Knights. Could have his flat track bully pants on? And at home to injury ridden doggies…..

    Thinking the same.

He well and truly passed the eye test for me the last 2 weeks, will watch one more and if named again next week will probably get him in.

Do you have a mid that averages 60? If so I'd choose them over a 1/4 chance of an 80 any day

If someone guaranteed me Teddy wouldn’t play origin I’d be happy for fantasy and as a blues fan..

If Teddy isnt playing Origin, its probably because he has been KOd again.

Would you rather have a mid tier 5/8 who barely kicks at all, or an extremely talented genuine 7 who does almost all the kicking

I was looking to bring in IKat this week. Milford on the bench scares me off. If Knik ends up as bench utility, Milford would likely dominate the kicking instead. He's probably fine, and I'd certainly hold him, but it's enough to scare me off bringing him in.

Cheese goes this week. Would you bring in Uto or SJ this week? Uto would be my captain this week if I bring him in. If SJ cones in instead then Fogarty would be Captain. I get Galvin and Cleary off the bench next week. So Uto v Dragons or SJ v Manly.

If you have SJ, captain SJ. He has the base of Fog, but with attacking upside in the form team of the comp.

I suspect Milf is only there because Donoghoe got suspended
