Of my four reserves: Lussick, Levi, Flanagan, Chevy - who do I omit to loop Salmon? Seems like a crap shoot to me.

Thank God The Weak Gutted Dog has joined the points party this round! Only 2 shittos to go and they are currently averaging 37. No players in the last game and no real damage (so far). Pretty much the same rank as when the round started.

(C)arrigan and elite POD superstar IKat have carried me into the top 500 this round.

Probably going to lose a few thousand ranks back, as I don't have many players left (RTS, Turbo, Hopgood, Iro, Kris, Strange, Levi), but enjoying this round while it lasts.

Great little POD in iKat but if SOS comes in with the KNik injury then it may fall flat. Hopefully not, though!

Who gets a run Brbo, Iro or Stewo?

I’m thinking about giving the young fella a run

I have faith in Ikat to not lose too much even if SOS does come in. He's become a genuine dominant half that he wasn't last year.

That said, Milf did steal some of the kick metres tonight but Ikat scored 48 even with only 211 kick metres, so it may not even matter.

I do think it's more likely that Milf stays at 6 until they get their guys back, but either way, I'm backing the talent here.

How many fines can you accept before you go straight to suspensions? He lost his appeal last week and had to pay more.

I think you're right but I worry if SOS comes in he will be bullish and try to take over the team.

I wish the Phins would put Burns as 6 but probably don't see that happening just yet.

I think SOS is mature enough to realise that he's there to do a job and not be the main man.

Ikat is far too good a talent to not own, and his kicking game is his key strength. I brought him straight in as soon as I got one look at him this year, and it's paying off big time.

Main rule I'm trying to stick to this year is back the talent and forget about stats.

Yeah he's coming along nicely. I'm a Phins fan so I was gutted when he wasn't selected for R1 over SOS. Really poor decision from Bennett there. Or maybe it was a masterclass, ye ol bait and switch. Who knows.

iKat is a future star so I hope he kicks on (quite literally). May see Trai Fuller at the back too depending on what's the go with KNik.

There are currently 17 HLF's averaging more than him. Should make a good bit of cash for you but won't be a keeper in the HLF position.

I think he will get better and better over the course of the year, he's still so young but already so good.

Even if he isn't a genuine keeper to the end, he'll probably stay in my team until the end of the Origin period due to him playing all three major bye rounds and 2/3 of the post-Origin ones (only misses 14 and 18)

He has definitely looked a lot stronger this year, especially in defence but also the way he carries the ball to the line in attack. Fantasy wise I think you need him to keep Niko as his half partner, if SOS or Milf come in they will eat away at his KM which will kill his base.

IKat was going to spend only about 50 minutes on the field tonight if Hamiso did not get injured

Wayne Bennett in the press conference said that Nikorima brought the calf injury into the game and suggests that he will be right for next week https://www.nrl.com/watch/matches/telstra-premiership/2024/round-6/dolphins-round-6/ possibly just giving him a bit of a breather at the end of the game as it was already gone

That's not true. Milf came in for the Donoghue role. Probably was going to play a stint at lock or 9.

My Papy captain gamble was looking elite when he was on 28 after 4 minutes. At a PPM of 7 I was expecting a captaincy score of over 1100. To say I'm devastated is an understatement

Some minor up/downdates for the last game. Patty down to 74. They found 6 points somewhere for Milf.

Both games seemed to have really small differences after updates which is strange? Maybe the scorers nailed it tonight or maybe it could all change after lockout?
