Is Willison worth it as a cash grab? Or will he become a liability once Haas comes back?

Pretty uninspiring start to the round and captain Hynes doesn't play until the final game to bring balance to the scores

Im tempted but dont think you'd be able to rely on him as a scorer in your team when Hass is back

It would be more on the assumption (hope) that he would make a quick $100k+ sitting in the EMGs.

I’ve already burnt so many trades though so 2nd guessing it 😬

    Piakura holders alert:

“Piakura is likely to return against the Tigers, but that could be pushed back to the following week when the Broncos take on Vegas foes, the Roosters.“

    Sauce: Fox League

Looks like it’s not guaranteed next week return

i saw a news article where ba said his team gave up...."we're a part-time footy side atm. we pick & choose when we want to play, we pick & choose when we want to make a tough choice or a soft choice. the 2nd half wasn't good enough it all just got too fast for us & it got too hard & we just gave up it's as simple as that"

as someone who loves league this is embarassing as this is supposed to be the toughest game on the planet where it's played by tough men...if you read his language he said soft which means he called them a bunch of pussies who did not put their bodies on the line.

if i was ba i would be dishing out gruelling fitness sessions this week every day of the week & i would tell the players if you give up & if you don't perform you're not playing this week.

It is a mix of good and bad - probably a bad thing this round to have too many players in the early games - but Captain Johnson did well - I am sitting at 400/8c, which seems a little above average at this stage in relation to players played - yafss is blocked on my computer so i cannot really say .

White Lightning wrote:as a gutherson owner it's disappointing that the team just isn't functioning efficiently & all of a sudden he seems a poor purchase but as the say you made your bed now you have to lie in it.
as they say one week is a long time in league you just have to hope they sort it out in training this week.

As horrendous as two scores of 19 and 22 are in three weeks of ownership, I’d probably persist with that from a fullback if he was fully fit, but he was at less than 50% fitness out there and I’ll be getting rid of him for his obvious injuries above all else.

As others have noted, round off to a rough start with basically half my played players begging to be traded out next week, so it remains to be seen who’s the worst of a bad bunch. I hope there’s no worse than Gutho, but I’m sure plenty will try.

I was hoping for a single trade next week, looks like it’ll be three again. Sad

My second highest scorer is Rocco Berry.

Not a sentence I expected to be typing, but there you have it. Funny old game.

352/8 for me. Hopgood and Lussick disappointing last night but could be worse.

Lussick is a bit annoying tbh. He is my backup hooker so would need to get in a hooker if I trade and would prefer to one not involved in Origin. And basically all the good option have a chance for Origin.

Wouldn't be surprised if Hands came back into the 17 or Lussick is dropped. He was pretty poor and was one of the guy who looked completely buggered in that second half.

Pissed I didnt play Bostock but I can never bring myself to do it if I have other options. He just keeps scoring well and he will be cheap to turn into a gun when the time comes.
