Also, forgot to mention this last night, but was anyone watching channel 9 last night and did this info filter through on Foxtel too, around the Asi HIA?

Apparently the bunker immediately ruled him a Category One, ruled out for the game and consequently next week. But Eels officials didn't know this and he got taken in for standard assessment, was ruled a Category Two, assessed by independent doctor and he was actually cleared to play the rest of the game.

So he went back out on the bench ready to go back on the field after being assessed and cleared by a doctor in real life, before they were advised that some guy watching a video from behind a glass window had already ruled him out.

Anyone else find this a new height of stupidity? If that's how it went down as I understood it...

Looks like it’s not guaranteed next week return

Bloody hell. Held him all these weeks on a wing and a prayer.

Ouch. I'm sure that epic GIF was used in abundance when you dropped that info first. Sorry to hear that, mate. At least you have a good player for next week, though, which is something to look forward too. Very Happy

As horrendous as two scores of 19 and 22 are in three weeks of ownership, I’d probably persist with that from a fullback if he was fully fit, but he was at less than 50% fitness out there and I’ll be getting rid of him for his obvious injuries above all else.

As others have noted, round off to a rough start with basically half my played players begging to be traded out next week, so it remains to be seen who’s the worst of a bad bunch. I hope there’s no worse than Gutho, but I’m sure plenty will try.

I was hoping for a single trade next week, looks like it’ll be three again. Sad
Last week I had 4 scores in the twenties or less, with Cleary on the bench, and scored 926. This week no scores in the twenties, no Cleary on the bench, and I hope I get to 750! I’ve played 5 so far and my captain has scored the same points as the other 4 combined! Talagi might move all the way up to 20th next week if he starts.

As a glass half full kind of guy I’m thinking Russell’s 24 is awesome if Lussick can play 80 at HOK and score 28! Not owning Lussick helps with this too! Playing him at 20 also makes me feel much better.

funny how when tim samona got in trouble he got thrown out of the nrl but when andrew johns admitted using drugs in a state of origin game he was rewarded with coaching roles & being on tv.

Just saw that May is out for Penrith on a personal matter. How did it take that long? Surely the NRL will take the fact he is a May into consideration. I’m so glad I got rid of him earlier this week. This week I’ll take that small victory!

I'm pretty sure Joey said he never did drugs during the season, only ever off season. Which I doubt is true but pretty sure that's what he said.

Also one man was gambling on the sport he plays, including betting on his own games which brings the games intregity into disrepute. Exxies aren't performance enhancing either, recreational drugs only impact the one person.

Remember kids, don't do drugs because everyone else is... do them because they're fun.

Simona literally affected results of games by betting on opponents he was marking would score tries, while the other took some recreational drugs. Nowhere near the same thing.
