Interesting. Yeah i thought he played poorly in the weekend, glad he scored that try. If this is the case then i may trade him out even though his price hasnt peaked yet
Article in paper yesterday saying Saifiti is young and the 4 games have tired him out and he'll be benched for a while..

Cool. I thought as such. Could be a trade free week for me.Andy V wrote:
They use a rolling 5 week average, weighted more towards recent results. So another 2 weeks that this will somewhat impact his price.
Milch's sheet has his BE around 70 still so likely he will drop a bit more cash the next 2 weeks, then bounce back a bit.

Probably keep him 1 more week at least as an NPR - should score enough off the bench to make a bit more cash.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 21
Thoughts on a WFB or Centre upgrades?
I've got enough money in the bank to get anyone, but obviously want value for money.
At C I'm considering: Kata, Roberts, or Dougan
At FB I'm considering: RTS, Mansour, or Semi
Tending towards RTS and Kata. Both because I reckon the Warriors are getting on track now, will keep getting better, and hence the attacking stats of both those two should improve. RTS because I suspect his price tag will start trending the other way (if it hasn't already after this week), and Kata cause I think he might be a decent POD player.
Thoughts?

Not gonna happen.
Lol whatever. Score of 20 to cover Copley at CTR and robbed of 12pts last week for being "offside".

Anyone got any thoughts on cash-out options that are likely to get a run over the bye rounds? or is it too early to be trading in non-players?

Watching Holland in NSW cup yesterday there is no way he will be called back up to first grade. Team was down on troops and backed up on their goal line and he just stood out on the wing instead of coming in to help the forward do the tough stuff. Thats the kind of thing Des looks out for

No I don't. I know he would be a good option but I feel like I missed the boat on him. His price is too high, and he is well owned already. I was hoping to jump on a couple players that have less ownership. You think its not too late for Teddy now though?
It's my first year playing this and I can see I made heaps of mistakes already, but I'm still only a touch outside of the top 10,000 and hoping I can push my way into top 5000 or so by season end.
Team as it stands is:
McCollough, Parcell
JBrom, BLaw, Woods, TTrbo
Taupau, Surgess, JSaifiti, Paasi, Carter, Ma'u
Hastings, Walker, Barber, JNik
PatMat, Croker, Scott, Benry
Mitchell, Gutherson, Wighton, Denniss, J Bowen
Would would you guys do with this team?

Looking to grab Asiata for Carter/Saifiti this week or next. Should get some increased minutes with Scott and Tamou on origin duties and plays round 12

Your team is decent especially for a rookie. Before i recommend any trades we would need to know how many you have used so far. If you have used the maximum 8 then i would recommend no trades this week. If you have used 6 then maybe just do one upgrade for FB so that you dont have to play Gutherson every week but try doing it by upgrading Benry vis dpp and looking for bye coverage. If you have used 5 or less then you can afford the double trade but make sure both suit your bye stratergy

if anyone wants to feel disheartened, PGC's overall rank was pretty good by this point of the season last year

Sucks that Coen Hess played that one game last year and blew up his price for this season.

Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback.
Yeah unfortunately I have used all 8 trades - mostly due to shitty player choices at the start of the season, but seemingly one of two dumb trades as well I have had a bit of bad luck though. With injuries and suspensions I've had to make a couple extra trades and then last week I had to make a couple trades just to field 17 guys...
OK, so perhaps leave it as is then.
As for a bye strategy... other than having a look at schedules etc to be honest I don't really have one. I'll have a bit of a look at that now. Whats the ultimate goal though? In general are you simply trying to field 17 players on each of the bye weeks? How does it generally work for Origin guys? Do they tend to miss the game before, and sometimes after origin?
Cheers

There has been a few players consistently getting attacking stats rewarding those chasing last weeks points. Can't continue forever and we will see the guns rise back to the top
