Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 21
Currently only have Saifiti, Rochow, Whitehead, Gutherson, Gordon for the first bye. Looking to grab Asiata, Peats, Aitken, Ma'u and Graham/Tolman in the next few weeks which should give me a decent showing without decimating my team for round 15/18

Realistically i want a Top 250 spot.
I'm sitting just under top 5000 with sezer and Croker to play tongiht.
Second year doing this, first was 2011 doing h2h supercoach. So its been a struggle to keep up.
Team is set up well baring injuries, Main issues is money makers.
I reckon from about 1000-7/8,000 will move around a fair bit prior to the bye rounds, with people realising they are burning through trades and pulling up.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 21
OK, now seeing getting a team together for the bye weeks is pretty darn tough.
2 questions what is a good outcome for the bye weeks? i.e. how many players taking the field?
Also, what rounds will origin players miss / are likely to miss? I guess the later is player dependent aye.
The only origin player I have currently is Woods though, so what games other than his teams bye weeks should I expect him to be unavailable?
Sorry for the rookie questions but it does come from a rookie if that makes it any better

For the doggies, Hopo won't play Sunday games so will miss 10,11 and 12, meaning possibly a few rounds to make cash + play in bye round, and Morris will also be on origin duties you would think. So maybe a spot there if you pick correctly

They miss the week before origin, the week after depends on the player.Rippin and Tearin wrote:OK, now seeing getting a team together for the bye weeks is pretty darn tough.

Don't stress too much about number it's points your after. Wasting trades bringing in people who are only going to score 15 in a bye week will hurt you in the long run, unless they are just a cashout anyway.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 21
round 12 team:
JDB
Whitehead, Rochow, Saifiti
Lafai
Gutherson
So I'm gonna sit pretty for a few weeks now and then trade-rage around round 10 depending on what's happening.

Its sad when you have more money in your Fantasy bank then you do in your real life one. Ill be looking to spend the 400k+ sitting there this coming week to restore the order.Random wrote:

It's not that bad if your sitting on 400k in fantasy. A little sad if it's only $1500 thoughBren wrote:

Got rid of him already for Parcell. Suggest promptly if you haven't already.

I wouldnt hold saifiti just for one bye round tho, especially if he starts playing limited mins and potentially lose all the money he has made

Not much in the halves. Cullen might get 5 minutes for the Titans. Croker and Roche are busted. McCrone needs a longer term injury or maybe Benji disappears to France randomly.
If you've got Barba or Feeney, then I'm looking at Richie Kennar. Already got Bowen.
JNik was short of his BE by 2, so I'm not necessarily rushing him out this week. Check the team lists, injuries etc. for this week and if nothing comes up, there's always next. Nothing worse than missing out on the next big thing by a week (ala Jack Bird for me last year, got the fucker in the end though).

Hoping Tolman has a quiet game, BE of 57 with 2.8% ownership .
Pumps out similar scores to James Graham (20% ownership) at least 50k cheaper as well
Plays the first 2 big byes as well
