The reason is it caused a massive drama last year with the winner's trophy.  So long story short, DK, you were the official winner of the Overall league but when I recieved the plaque it had ArsenalBroncos team (FarCanal) on it.  This is because AB did technically finish 1st in the league, but we only allowed AB and a few other posters into the SUG at the end of the season to facilitate our in house Eliminator.

Obviously FanHub didn't know this and the plaque came with AB's team, not yours DK, unfortunately.  (I did mention it on Sportal but it was right before the place self combusted).

So I actually still have the plaque sitting on my desk at work DK.  If you get me an address I can forward it to you    .  I would even get the engraving changed cos that's the sort of bloke I am    .  I PM'd you last year but again, it was when Sportal was just about finished.

So very sorry lads.  DK, I know you had problems to start with and so missed the Leagues cut off this year unfortunately.  JBG, you are killing it mate and have been a great new poster, but just can't open the league up for anyone now.  Sorry again to you both.

When the season started I was under the impression I was in the overall league, didn't realise it was an unofficial one.  I would have asked about it when I posted on the day of the first lockout. Champ doesn't get to defend his title, I guess a new winner will be good and i'm way off the pace anyway.
