Personally don't mind the move for us. Not saying he is the only one but it does remove a bit of the "bro" culture and relaxed attitude that some of the juniors and bench players have, while getting in a workhorse forward who will run and tackle till the final whistle. Mannering and Hoffman aren't getting any younger. Yes the warriors have made some calls in the past cutting players and they have turned out to be good players (SST) and it could happen with RFM but if they at least get Lane then I'm happy at this point

4 forwards on the bench for the Tigers doesn't bode well for CLaw's minutes. Still don't know if I feel comfortable benching him though, I bought him for a reason and too pricey to be a NPR.

Don't see the point of dropping Littlejohn as he is bottom price and will get his chance with any injury in halves. Henry is a more worrying red dot til season end as that boy is done. That said Bateman needs to show something off the bench or that last reserve spot of ours will become a merry go round while Soli is out

    Good point.

The Ders have a few options in the 2rf, so no real guarantee of substantial time. Might hold off for a week and see what happens.

Are you blokes on drugs? What game have you been watching? Dylan Walker has been solid the last 2-3 weeks. He's showing some handy signs he's learning and developing. He's Manly's gun buy over the off season. He's also just 21 years old. Why the fuck would they drop him to NSW Cup? Think about it.

Everyone wrote Milford off last season and now look. I don't at all think Walker will end up having the same impact, but he's very young and raw and has enormous potential. So I'm not writing him off at 6. If it were up to me, I'd be playing Jamie Lyon at 6 and Walker at centre. But to suggest Walker be dropped altogether is absurd.

I can see Koroisau back on the bench and taking minutes off Parcell, unfortunately. Matai won't get dropped. He plays alot better than fantasy scores will have you believe.

    OPTION 1:

Niko to Cullen & Carter to Fensom ($0 remaining, reserves are Parcell, Blaw, Cartwright, Ma'u)

    OPTION 2:

Niko to Holland & Carter to Bateman ($290k remaining, reserves are Parcell, Blaw, Cartwright, Taylor)

Option 2 would let me go Saifiti to Fensom next week, with enough cash left for another decent upgrade later.

I wouldn't drop him but to suggest he's been any good is a stretch. He ruins so many attacking options and more often than not picks the wrong guy to pass to. When he runs he's brilliant, because he's a centre and not a 6.

Avoid Cullen i'd say, he might get a handful of games then will hang around as an annoying red dot. I think any trade involving dud>Holland is solid.

Hmm Bateman has been named to replace Soli. The question is, is Bateman actually replacing Soli or is Tapine going to get that role with Bateman getting Tapine's role.

the other way of looking at it is that he gets the maximum cash out of Niko, and should't be a A/E worry while also potentially making 15-30k (if he plays a couple of games). That extra bit of value might get you over the line with a trade at the end of the year.

Around Origin I'm assuming he might cover when Morris is out as well(rd12 and 18?). Not sure

That extra 15-30 you made might mean nothing when you run out of trades as well. Need to have the right balance.

Sucks for John, very underrated player IMO. Would take him over Robson at the Warriors any day.

I agree, he is quite under rated. Dont forget, he was playing reserve grade (I think?) and still got picked for the Kiwis 2-3 years ago.

FWIW, I have the opposite opinion. I think the Warriors are getting the better end of the deal here from what I remember from Lane.
