In 3 of Penrith's 5 games this year, the opposition has had an unused sub on the bench.

Trading to a supergun like Parker, Fifita or Gallen feels better, but they all have Origin.
But so does Merrin.

Ive traded him out so like Aubs he will go BIG. He did rack up a 51? Pointer in 32 mins or whatever it was so he is capable of doing the job. Im just sick of his average scores for his price

Kostjasyn to warm the bench and panthers to be the catalyst for Granville playing 80 from here on in!?!?!
That's fantastic news.

I still think Kostjasyn will be in the halves over origin with Chudleigh the bench hooker

Brad Abbey comes to mind, but Dogs fans on here would be able to qualify that. Watched him in NSW Cup last week and thought he needed to look a bit keener personally.

Can't make up my mind. On the one hand he's a gun playing 60 min at lock and could/should come good and don't want to waste a trade.

But on the other hand, plays origin, there's the Griffin factor, there might just be something about the team dynamic that means he wont come good, take out the try and scores are an underwhelming 46, 41, 52, 28, if not trading this week he'll lose more cash, not bye friendly if he doesn't play origin, and he just looks slow fat and lazy. Mau on the other hand, was really looking for work on the weekend.

I think I'm talking myself into it.....Merrin -> Ma'u/Fensom

I'm holding.
My main concern is that we still don't know what his illness was two weeks ago when he was in hospital, but surely if it was glandular fever he wouldn't be playing.
If no improvement this week ill re assess.

Thanks for the input. Plenty of Dogs fans on this forum.

With origin around the corner, is it worth bringing Tedesco in now (for DCE) or is cash better spent elsewhere.

Would still get 6 rounds of Superted action in, but then he misses 4 out of 8 rounds.

WFB currently are RTS, Mansour and one of Barba/Mitchell/Bowen

Thoughts on bringing in Bowen and Holland together this week??
