I said this would probably happen when he was first selected (when people suggested Chevy had the spot for the rest of the year, therefore insta buy)

But i brought him in anyway.

May, Chevy and Chester —-> Plath, Bateman and Armstrong

Big decision whether Armstrong or Kris makes the run on side and who is relegated to the Salmon Loop

Yeah - we’ll just buy him back and hit 9 trades left for the season.

Worried that Preston late in fucks Salmon up (lower min lock or bench with Mann at 13)

Plath a popular trade in this week - but is John Bateman with the extra $31k

MID would be nice, which he may get before the 2nd and 3rd big byes, but he seems to me to provide a bit better value

Yeah, can't go past 80 minute MID Bateman.

Nothing like a mattnz prediction to make you think things through.

The last time Bateman played 80 minutes at lock, he followed it up with 54 minutes at lock, and then went back to the edge.

Scoring still pretty good though, and I think he may be better value then Plath, although I would really like the MID DPP when origin hits

I think I’m going the taco route with Plath and Bateman

Means holding Levi over Salmon in EMG, but feeling like Salmon drops to bench with Preston lurking

Levi is having his ass booted next week

I had a look at my bye planer again and I think I am going to go the taco route as well. Was planning on Brailey as well as Bateman this week but he can wait. Plath's HLF/MID DPP is incredibly useful (if he keeps the spot etc etc)

Those all rushing in Armstrong in, wasn’t it just a week ago Baz Toohey was telling us he wasn’t first choice to replace Ponga and once the other guy (Sorry I forgot the name) was back in 2(?) weeks, he would be in the team?

I think taco is the way to go if you can make it happen, I can only get one in this week, but will be picking the other up next week

I think he said Sharpe was first choice if fit. Which he wasn’t, and now is being brought back through Flegg instead of Cup.

At no point was it mentioned that Armstrong was bad and it would be rough to just drop him

Toohey said he'll be playing Jersey Flegg to ease back whatever that means

Bateman a good pickup but don't really need another EDG. MID DPP would be handy. If hes only playable at edge i'm not sure he's any use to me over the byes as someone who already has KPP, Blore and Angus (unless he makes origin).
