I've got the same backline as you manly, and considering trading out Kris as well. Are you worried about trading out a R13 WFB when you will only have 1 left? Or is that a thing you'll worry about closer to the R13?

I'm not really worried about playing 13 every bye rnd if my team is getting stronger when I'll gain points in the no bye rnds to make up for it.

Worse case I will bring in Armstrong and weekes if need be. But max traded this year so really only want guys with a lot of cash potential or keepers

Looking at my current team I potentially have 1-13 for Rd 13. Gees it’s very uninspiring!

Happened to me with Taylan a couple of years ago, and burned me pretty bad. Now I feel like I take a swing at every single one for the fear of missing an easy 300k.

i am not super excited about any of the cheapies, they all have risk, but i do need to get someone at the moment.

Armstong looked pretty decent, and i need a wfb when the raiders are on bye. (actually, i don't if i get Garrick this week)

I didn't get Talagi though Coffee

    I did get Chevy

I'm not really seeing it with Atkinson, but maybe I'm just missing an obvious/easy one there. (starting half in good team)

I don't understand. You potentially have 13 but could be 1?

Normally, I'm a patient man, however Ivan's recent indiscretions eg, Sorensen, Nathan & Turuva. warrant a heated discussion.

The question is do you get Atkinson instead of Armstrong if it means getting Brailey is easier to manage?

Or just flag the cheapies this week and get Garrick instead?

Yeah, so many good value options at the moment that I was already making trades for the players I want most with a few 100K left for next week, so absolutely no need to consider trading Cleary out this week.

Most frustrating thing about it is I have nothing to look forward to in tonight's match now. I generally love that Thursday buzz before it all kicks off, but no one playing tonight means very little interest, to be honest.

    Bring on Friday.

Only benefit is another day to think about trades as Hynes C is locked

This morning I'm leaning towards the Garrick option this week. Reasses again next week on the cows.

lol, isn't that be the opposite of a benefit? Too much time to think about trades is a burden, I reckon, not a blessing. I made a pretty early call on trades this week so gave myself the day off yesterday. Will do again today, I reckon. Good time to catch up on some other stuff, but doesn't make the Cleary news less annoying. Wink

I’ve got a bit of money and some guys to get rid of (May/Guth)

    Gutho to Garrick
    May to Bateman
    Kris to Brailey

Still leaves Chevy/Strange as theoretical CTR/WFB cover

I've gone Jolliffe, but I'd already picked up Brailey.
It all depends on whether or not you need Hooker or Middle cover.

I don't mind Matt's thinking around Watson. He scores points when he's on the field, that's for sure. Radley making a permanent move to an edge seems strange, i'm aware Robbo said that 'he would have started on edge' in the presser last week'.  A big risk. Plathy basically the same price and seems a bit more locked in.

Can't really take a risk on another Roosters forward lol. Interesting to see what happens this week though.

I'm considering going another week without Hynes and hoping SJ can bang out a true captain's knock. Thoughts?

Yep, this happened to me last year which is the reason I didn't start with him this year. I imagine there'll be a new collection of 'Never Agains' recruited this year.
