I feel like this season the biggest lesson I've learned is "back the talent" because anything can happen.

Backing Hosking early season pays off.
Backing Galvin after big wraps from the coach pays off.
Backing Angus, a proven gun, despite the Robbo merry-go-round pays off.
Backing Willison, the big prop forward who passes the eye test pays off.
Backing Iro the centre with all the wraps in the world (Rugby League Guru's favourite) holds his CTR spot and pays off.
Backing Fuller the dynamic and enthusiastic fullback finally getting his shot, pays off.

You certainly can't get them all, but my word if you did you'd be laughing.

Could drop Avo, or move him to 6, Niko bench.

Would rather move Avo to 14 personally, covers the backline (more players) better than Niko and can play halves if needed. I imagine he could play lock in a pinch as well.

Love the idea though (despite not owning Fuller!)

Yeah it's just not going to happen. And people will scream about it. But the team needs Hammer back there. Fuller has those moments but there's a lot he lacks, too. He seems like a good fella. Would be good to upgrade him to a Top 30 contract as a reward. Can't see him leaving for any other club.

Hammer's going to be straight back in at fullback, lads. Take the Fuller scores and cash and Origin coverage and just be happy with that and hope he hasn't played his way into a ten minute impact role in the meantime.

I grabbed him, not a great first half in the team but he might get another 12 points next half and hit his BE yet!

Fuller was so badly out of position to let Waddell score.

Most people only talk about the highlights not all the little things he misses that he should be doing

Yep, that's it. He's got a lot of talent but there's a reason he's not the FB.

The media has been telling us that the youngest trbojevic was the best brother for years now

If he came out this year and averaged 45 you could apply the same 'just back the talent' theory

Even though I'm mad he did it. I love when Bennett pulls a player for doing something shit. Good to see him stick the boot in. Pretty sure I remember him doing it to Lemmy a few times last year while owning him

I was just thinking about that time I was 100% set on Wighton at CTR because he was surely going to be starting in halves this week but then he didn't so although I'd done everything in my power to avoid Garrick I finally conceded that there was no alternative but to bring him in, so I did, for Waddell, and then Waddell outscored a spud I never wanted in my team anyway.

Haha, harsh early take, but man I am not a Garrick fan and my first half of ownership has done nothing to change that. Definitely not helped by Waddell being so epic either.

On the plus side, I'm going to hang a Trai Fuller poster on my bedroom wall, right next to my side of the bed.

Also, in a full strength team Plath was never going to be 70-80 minutes. The spot was Gilbert's actually. He's a super handy player but now with more players he's not needed for huge minutes.
