As someone feeling a bit foolish about this myself, to explain;

With Pap and Strange out I needed a CTR and WFB to field 17 this week and alongside Pap it was either Waddell, Piakura or Salmon to go. Hindsight is a cruel mistress, but Salmon and Piakura both had relatively low BE’s and seemingly, at the time, decent job security. Waddell’s BE was more than his ceiling so far this year and like Chucky said, it was likely to be his last week anyway.

What has transpired is the stuff of nightmares, but none of it predictable either. Well, Piakura and Salmon being pretty shit is a given, but Waddell scoring a try wasn’t on the cards.

In other words, the result is putrid, but I don’t think my thought process was at fault. Just very shit luck.

Main reason to ditch Smithies, is don't think he's a keeper, and has 2 byes in 5 weeks, so may as well go now.
Can cover this week, so holding for 13 a possibility and then ditch for R14. But if I can get someone in this week who is a keeper, and or well undervalued then beneficial to pull the trigger now

I'm planning to ditch Smithies in 14 for the same reason. Already covered for this week and don't think his price goes anywhere in next few weeks

I can do Chevy to Mikaele and play him at 17. This is an example of where Fantasy is so much better than SC -the ability to do a straight swap of a FB to a FRF and loop whiever you want. Mikaele therefore replaces Cotter in 13 and potentially 14 too?

That Mikaele news would have been gold yesterday afternoon.

Bringing Mikaele into 17 means Armstrong goes to 20. Last week leaving Armstrong out was a master stroke. You can now guarantee Armstrong goes nuts today as these last minute trades rarely pay off! At least now I can dump Shoes as early as next week! I was only holding him for Mid coverage for Rd 13 so probably too many mids for 13 now.

Haven't sold Papy yet so will get Armstrong points if good score or Papy to Dom Young if not

People knew (or should have known) Terrell May was capable of up and down, but still a lot of trade him on or our based on whatever he just scored.

I have done a superb job this season of being reactionary when I should have held, and holding when I should’ve been reactionary
