I'm just grateful Piakura won't lose a tonne of cash, this week. The bad news is there's still another week to go before I can dismiss him.

Payne limping heavy in the sheds. Seem to be touching his upper shin? Will see what the outcome of that is.

Over the past two weeks I've heard commentators (looking at you Ennis & Vossy) earnestly suggest that Brendan Piakura and Ethan Strange are Origin quality.
The level of punditry in this game is through the floor.

More or less a straight swap for Salmon next week. Easy trade.

Adam Blair once played prop for the broncos and ran 20metres in 40 something mins.
I recall a time where he played a long game in the second row for the Warriors and ran 10m as well
Ahhhh, those were the days

Piakura is woeful. For such big wraps the lad is honestly trash in defence. It goes to show that if you get a highlight it can literally mask your shittery.
As for Strange, I don't mind him. Dude has effort. Gets involved. Origin quality is probably a bit of a stretch at THIS age but he would rip and tear more than most.

Yeah, it's stupid to be talking about Origin for Strange yet, but I definitely like him as a player too.
Absolute night and day between Strange and Piakura, imo.

Decided to bank a trade and take a look at Koula, he can wait a week.

I'd love to see you get snapped like a pretzel.
Back in the day I'd have lifted you up just under the ribs and slammed you into the turf, driving the shoulder into your kisser and slamming me forehead into your chin for a bit of fun and blood. Kids these days. lol.
