I think trading in Dom Young is getting a guy in a variable position at his peak. He's playing for a better team now, but his priced at his 2w023 average, and is scoring basically a try a game - whats going to happen if he goes a couple of weeks without a try?
You have to ride the variance, but probably hope that he has some good games in the upcoming weeks.
Excluding the send off (can't recall a wing ever getting two send offs in a year, but haven't checked Tane Milnes stats tbf); he's averaging 54 at a try a game, priced at 44.
Last year at the Knights he averaged a try a game across a whole season, Roosters are arguable a better attacking team and more deliberate in how they use Dom Young.
If he maintains, and you can afford the trade, you might be able to ride a $130k gain in three weeks. If you're really lucky and he gets a 3 or 4 try effort in there (which I'll bet happens at some point this season), then a great cash and points boost.
It's a gamble for sure, but the upside ceiling is pretty nice
(I've wasted too many trades to get him myself)
