    On team lists
Afl name their teams on a Thursday they have 300000 playing their fantasy version

I personally would like a day before play team list of 18 1 spare. If someone outside of the 18 plays then for each person $1000 dollars is donated to a charity of the opposition teams choosing.

It's really just foolish asking clubs to name teams on a Tuesday.
Triply so for teams that have played on Monday.

But Tuesday teams are before judiciary hearings.  She there are several training sessions for fringe players to put their hand up,  or for anyone to get injured.

The best solution is to just do away with them altogether. Not that that will make fantasy players happy.

Maybe I'm just used to soccer where you get no such luxury as teams named days in advance.

I think he was moreso getting at coaches being coy about injuries. He highlighted Madge being a little vague on whether Reynolds is in this week. Makes problems for the betting industry, and for fans who want to come out and see Adam Reynolds play. Apparently the NFL is all over it, and they can fine teams even for not reporting a player when playing injured. Maybe that would be taking things too far though. Personally as an NRL fan, I like that coaches can play mind games with each other and generate surprise come-backs. But as a fantasy player, I want those TLT's etched in stone, and those who break them drawn and quartered.

I think fines are a great idea, and I imagine it's because the NFL is one of the most gambled on sports that they have to take a tough stance. Keeping information on line-ups/injuries secret is just making that information a commodity that can be traded. Knowing in advance that a star will be out or an unlikely debutant as first try scorer.. Valuable information to have before the odds change.

Aside from gambling, I just think coaches look weak when they name players that they know won't be taking the field. As though their opponents are going to prepare all week expecting one thing and are completely shocked on game day when someone else is named and all plans are somehow ruined. In the case of Manly recently naming Taupau and BLaw even though they were officially banned, early guilty pleas made at least 5 hours prior, that team list should have been rejected, but if there's no real repercussions, what's the point in taking it serious?

Anyone getting in Cullen for JNik? I see it as the best way to get the full amount of cash available for the downgrade. Could be a while of him losing cash before another option comes along..

Nathan Milone has been training at Centre I hear and I think Taylor is deadset on keeping CLaw to the 2nd row a permanent gig. When Tedesco went down last week Simona went to the wing and Lovett went into the centres.
Logically Lovett's too slow but this is Jason Taylor we're talking about so I'd say Lovett to the centres, Cherrington comes back onto the bench.

Yeah I was considering it, but is it worth it just to bank 60k? JNik's price won't go down that much I wouldn't have thought so perhaps better to use the trade later to either upgrade or get a different cow?

I'm actually considering investing some cash and a trade and going for Taylor instead? Taylor should get decent points from KM, G, and T alone and every chance he adds to that with attacking stats. BE of 0 so will make some good coin this week and probably a further 2 after that. Will mean I can go a decent upgrade before the bye week.

Seems to me its just a matter of whether its worth burning an extra trade?? But I need to make some $ somewhere and this looks to be as solid an option there is going round right now (I have Walker, Hastings, and Parcell already).

Its just bizarre that Simona gets 3 weeks and Taupau got 1.

Also covers you for when Walker gets the chop (though hopefully Keary does)..

I know it's only 60k but we all signed him as a short term cash cow. The point to maximise that seems to be now and I can't see a better option to go to than Cullen..I can get a WFB also but nothing jumping out there..

Not that it will surprise anyone but even missing the next 3 games he will be the best center for the next 3 games.
