That was my take too - neither are sells. If you have then hold

Tossing up on (C)arty Party for the lols, or genuinely much more seriously KPP for captaincy this week. The dude is due a meat pie, has a very high base, and is averaging 51 in games over 60 minutes (which all his second row starts are). Add in a cheeky 16 point try and he could go boom.

Surely you didn't just bring in the Shart for just round 12? If you've had him for a while then it's a fill up with Munster injured. I'd be holding till Munster is back.

Koula not a trade while Turbo is out and he's the #1 fullback choice for Siebold. Should be back next week, at worst round 15. Run with 12 this week.

If one of Frizell or Lucas was out I'd be keen but just don't know how rotations will go. Probably unlikely but could be always be a late switch with Frizell.

To go against everyone elses advice about neither being a trade, I traded Koula last week to Wighton to play 17 (without injury was looking ok). The main reason being that Koula was still showing as TBC, and this season too many TBCs have ended up being longer than expected. The fact it has been nearly two weeks since his injury and still no update doesn't fill me with confidence.

Add on top that the fact Turbo is due back round 18, and you have max 3 fullback games from Koula if he's back next week. 3 FB games could earn a good bit of cash, but if he's back later than next week you're suddenly not making much money off him anymore, and playing a man down for this week plus any more.

TL;DR, my risk appetite for injured players is pretty low with how injuries are dragging on this season

If I'm wrong then I'll eat.... well look. There's nothing really around me that's particularly edible right now. But if I go downstairs there's some chips. So I'll eat some chips.

Just for clarity, are you talking total points or averages, or just a consideration of actual NRL ability? And who do you think number 2 will be?
If its fantasy averages Walker won't be top 3, so we'll work on total points, which is a better metric for overall fantasy players anyway.
If you are talking in non-fantasy terms, then you're just wrong. Sam Walker won't be a top 3 halfback this year.

Total Fantasy points, DCE is short odds to be number 1, barring injury or if they keep resting him from origin.

I assume you're ruling out Hynes based on either injury or origin selection keeping him out of first grade, but he has a 257 point lead over Walker at the moment, so its not a given.

Dylan Brown, Matt Burton, Ben Hunt all have more than 100 points on Sam Walker at the moment. Even Chad Townsend currently has a better average. Some of those are 5/8th no halfbacks, don't kknow how specific you are being, and origin will get in the way.
But whilst I can easily see Sam Walker doing better than Townsend over the next 8 weeks, for the other players in front of him it is not such a sure thing.

I just want to make sure that if you do eat chips, you are eating them legitimately.

The Teddy narrative is so strong this week I expect the fantasy gods will remind everyone why we don't captain backs no matter the match up

Teddy scoring fantasy points because he didn't get pciked for origin is like bench middies getting extra minutes because of whatever reason we made up this time.

Although I do remember in his pre-origin Tigers time, back when the VC loop was a thing, Teddy put up a banner on the Friday night game before origin, making a lot of people very happy.

I picked him up as a Paps replacement, didn't need another WFB, in Rd.10. I figured he had no chance of Origin with DCE captain and all - much like people held off on Ted as he was NSW C. Last 5 he's averaged nearly 55, last 3 50ish.

Of the available halves he's pretty much the best for this round - Rd.14 it will be Hughes.

He'll need to be covered next week - but we all have Galvin and I also picked up Wighton as a high risk bet, so have half cover for 14 & 19.
Rd.19 will be the issue - Roosters, Storm & Raiders on the bye means Weekes, Strange, Ted, Walker & Hughes will all be unavailable.

This is all dependent on players not copping HIA mandatory stand-down, or the common hammie / calf soft-tissue injuries that are rampant this year.

What if the real narrative is that the only reason Teddy has been scoring well was pushing to keep his spot but now that he's been replaced anyway he just doesn't give a fuck anymore and goes back to scoring 30s?

Ive been tossing up between JDB and King but maybe I just wait and get Twal next week. I like his price and with Bateman, IPap and Klem out there are plenty of minutes available. Can just play Mikaela this week

isn't there a reasonable chance that madge spoke to him weeks ago and told him he's looking to go in a different direction? (or has teddy proclaimed his surprise at not being selected?)

edit did some googling and supposedly maguire called teddy sunday to tell him the news..

Neither. Pointless waste of trade you don't need to play 13. 11-12 is fine
